What robot arm? I figured that was just an arm-brace in the first game to help Tali function, since that arm got riddled with bullets and polonium (iirc she doesn't have that in the prequel comic?). She doesn't have it in the second or third games.

Supposedly, Bioware has this peer review process. The writers sit down and talk these things with each other, offer guidance and make corrections. So when they went through it, they thought this was good enough to put in the game. I wonder how the new Mako will handle. Since they aren't putting any weapons on it, and solely focus on driving and exploration, it makes me wonder if they'll use more 'racing' style controls.
Triggers for acceleration and breaking, and the thumbsticks for steering and looking around.

Since they're also adding a jetpack as a gameplay mechanic, it also makes me wonder if they're ditching the micro-thrusters.
Boosting and jumping large gaps would be really cool.

It also makes me wonder how they'll make the various terrains. With such, alleged, focus on exploration, and the different planets we've seen, it sounds like they're making several planets we can land on. Will they all be hand made, or will they use technology similar to the FOX Engine or Star Citizen, where they can very easily change the terrain and add pre-existing assets. Trees, bushes, cutting into the terrain and adding water, etc.
