Well Faris or Vaan are better picks now because you need a unit with Focus. If Vaan's already that far ahead you don't really need to bother. But once you get someone else with Focus you can just use Agrias for her damage.

I never said Vaan was a tank, he's just tankier. As in he can take a hit better. Snow has nothing to do with this, he can't Full Break.

Faris and Vaan are both 5*s, and because of this they're weaker than all your other good units. They'll die before most other units you use, so survivability should take priority on your Full Breaker above all else.

But Agrias is better overall anyway if you don't need a Focus so who cares.

Snow's attack caps at 138 when maxed at 6* so unless you have a weapon with more than 69 ATK. its probably better to go unarmed.

Even then, he can equip knives, maces and throwing weapons too, so thorned mace would be better for him if you have it and don't cave CoD.

I went on and on about how only Ahriman was really required long before Onion came out. I like to spread the word.

Ahriman is kind of a tough boss though, so I do make it clear to newer players that Onion relics aren't the most useful thing to have since he needs to be both level 99 and to have 5* Combat/Support to be good.

BE is actually quite okay on the powercreep front, all things considered. Better than most games.

They STILL release 6* upgrades to old units, and those upgrades are often great. Not to mention enhancements.
Obviously not as good as the latest bannerbait, but ancient base 3*s and 4*s can still get you far.

But it really was clear what the game was gonna be like from the very beginning. Kingdom Hearts was made by the same team that helped with FFXV and you never had the ability to control Donald or Goofy and you were stuck with only them as partners except for when you had guest characters join you. To begin with they wanted to make a game to compete with FF13 and it started as a side project to fuckin Kingdom Hearts of all things but once they showed what they had for the game SE decided to scrap the whole Versus 13 thing and just make it a main series FFXV which in my opinion was a good idea.

Keeper's Choice 2 is a decent sink; it's got Sentinel's Grimoire and Platinum Sword, which have some of the all-purpose in-demand SBs.

Onion Gauntlets on the first banner for the event are the chase item for OK and are a good prize.

There'll be an OSBfest sometime that could be good to save for, and next year will have an XIV with amazing relics on it, but otherwise you might just try and get some basics like Medicas (heals the whole party) and Hastegas, or just synergy in general.

I know that when WoL 6* comes out, I'll build a team of Lightning/CoD(will likely be replaced by DW Firion when his 6* comes out)/WoL/Refia/Exdeath since WoL gives me another Raise(to handle arena CoDs) and his AoE Arms/Armor erase will come in handy. There's probably outfits for maxing out the side stuff you can do too. Hunting for instance probably has a hunters outfit or something but that's just speculation. I still think people need to stop thinking of these games as dress up simulators though.
