There's really no reason not to prestige, because it's pretty cheap to just buy <your favorite loadout> and now you have it forever.

Get the kit that makes flame shield better. Aside from that, try and be sneaky, play keep away with the flame traps, or use them to box in fools who get too close. Flame shield is your primary weapon, not the thermite launcher. Use it often, get shit tons of executes, flame core everywhere.

cloak was already kinda strong the way it was. cloak in tf2 worked like the burncard cloak in tf1, so that should tell you something.

I love holding off 4-6 titans in the end and trying my best to distract them from the dropship, and then nuclear ejecting into the path of the escaping dropship at the last possible second before it gets off planet. Am I the only one who thinks the campaign was too short? I beat it in 4 hrs on hard and while it was fun it feels too short, shoud've been longer, like an hour longer at the very least. Some of the sequences that get praised like chase level are really nothing special, you don't jump around jets as you wish you just do couple of scripted jumps and that's it. It also feels too short for any kind of relationship with BT to develop. It was like ehh I guess I got no choice but to use you and then suddnely I like you a lot, can't let you die mang. Also wasn't the captain lastimosa guy only a pilot of bt for like 300 days or something, honestly doesn't feel that long to be friends with a machine. Time jumps just come out of nowhere and no one seems surprised that such thing even exists (though maybe I just don't know the lore of the universe and everybody knew about this).

Yeah, and not just that but a good sequel. It doens't suffer from CoD or Nintendo sequel aversion where they re-introduce the basics and build the same game again, albeit with some gimmicks worked in.
I'm shilling the free weekend too. I have enough money that I'll probably end up buying it for a lot of people.

I actually think this game will have a strong retention rate which is almost as valuable as initial sales. The strong DLC will help with that too.

Word of Mouth is still the strongest marketing strategy for long term success.

it used to have a useful purpose in tf1(destroying titans via rodeo), but since the old rodeo mechanic is gone, its really bad now. maybe its better with the buff but i think they should not have brought it over to tf2 since tf2 is using a new rodeo mechanic

So near the end of the first mission where you fight your first titan, the first time I did it the game kind stopped and then bluescreened me. The second time I did it, I'm pretty sure I finished the mission but my audio was cutting out ever since the titan dropped in, bluescreened right afterwards. Anyone know what the hell is going on? I've never had an issue like this on any of my other games.
