I think Mastema is better than Behemoth. Nuking your own board and face for 2 damage is a much bigger downside for blood than not being able to attack non-wards/face.

Beast Dominator is probably better than Mastema though.

Both lists have a lot of midgame similarities, just a different earlygame and stronger tutoring/stronger starting first. I usually prefer the first list unless I'm confident that I'm facing haven/rune

I could try that but I think the deck is pretty tight on space right now. Azazel doesn't do anything on it's own when he drops too unlike alucard or temptress

It really isn't that combo-ish. You either win the game early with a bunch of 1234 blood drops as per aggro decks or if you're stopped(usually) by the opponents you have very very messed up midgame with queen vamps and bloody mary, and a lot of draw and board clear

Around turn 7 onwards it's burn time with alucard, temptress or bloody mary + bonds/claws/wolves

That sucks though. At least if the expansion gives Haven more cool mid/late minions that aren't board-filling storm amulets and Elana doesn't outclass her defense buff for 3, she might actually have something to do.

I got 4 Bloody Mary and while the animated one is nice and there are some okay decks, the wait continues for Blood to get good. At least I know the Rose Queen got today will have some fun potential.

But I see people saying that higher ladder is nightmare, so should I slow down, try other classes, or just keep going?

With a little tweaking, aggro bats is master compatible. I would seek the help of that vampy guy who has master rank.

Looks pretty good now. midnight and wind god are fairly decent if you can reliabley get the bats, my list has 2 angel barrage over them, though for aggro mirrors. But if you aren't running into aggro that much it will probably be better. But I am no expert, so take it with a grain of salt.

This is the list I run. It's very much anti-aggro/midrange, but it can still hold its own against slower decks.
You can change it up by taking out an Aurelia for an extra Otohime, running Leo instead of Olivia, or dropping a Tsubaki for an Odin, depending on what kind of decks you'r facing.
