Jaina is also better, her trait and higher burst potential makes it easier for her to disengage with risky positioning.

The only disengage potential Kael has is his E, which is a skillshot that can be dodged if the one chasing you is good.

Li-Ming and Jaina are picked way more in tournaments than Kael. Kael is really only seen on shrines and even then Gul'dan is probably seen more. Especially since the nerf to the stun meta.

Jaina is picked for combo potential, Li-Ming for snowball and Gul'dan for crazy wave clear and sustain damage. KT is kind of in a weird place where he's okay at all that, but not really amazing at it until late levels.

They are picked for a variety of reasons. Jaina and Gul'dan have the same problems KT has especially Gul'dan.

Li-Ming does more burst than KT and if you don't think that you are an idiot. That and resets has the chance to snowball any team fight you are in. That's why Li-Ming is taken more than any other mages, not just blink.

Jaina because of Ring of Frost and combo potential with tons of other ults. It's more than just they are easier to position with because in truth you can play bitch mode with KT and be fine.

Her trait will make her impossible to approach, since she slows anyone whom are touched by her abilities.

Every 4 seconds, she can slow any advancing hostile for 30%. If they get closer or more than 1 is advancing, you just pop cone or blizz. They are slowed, and you just walk out of there.

80% of jaina deaths i see in HL, is because people tunnel vision and forget to walk the fuck out after they pop their shit. They just stand there and land basic attacks, which promply will get you killed from any fast reacting tank to capitalize on your retardedness.

Misfits and Dive Meta.

Overall, Tanks have never been in a worse spot than they are now. The only 3 viable tanks are Muradin, ETC and Johanna (in that order).

This makes it easy for heroes like Butcher and Kerrigan to dive in and wreck the backline for good, before the tank can react. Even if the tank does react, bursting down the tank is also suddenly a viable option.

The majority of maps just added (Braxis Holdout particularly), favour heroes that were neglected before, like Gazlowe, Hammer, Rexxar and TLV (on 3 lane maps only).

You still want to grab Samuro or Varian any chance you get.

A lot of people are gonna argue on the only 3 tanks being viable, but it's the sad truth, they just have a hard time accepting it.

Also remember (i'm assuming you're new); Warrior =/= Tank. Rexxar operates a lot more like a specialist with disruption, and Sonya operates exactly like an assassin with a gap closer and stun.

There are some combs that can work with Tyrael, that's true, but it requires comms and higher than average cooperation, not fit for HL.

The lack off overall disruption in the current meta is exactly why diving is so easy for butcher, kerrigan, varian and most other divers.

ETC buffs her attackspeed. You don't want a buffed enemy Valla, and you want to buff your shitter teammate that picked Valla because she's FOTM.
Johanna is a huge threat to Valla, blind is amazing and Blessed Shield will get her killed.

If Valla sees a Muradin on the enemy team, depending on how the rest of the comps looks, she could just go for the W build and not give a shit about your attack speed debuff. Not to mention that if buffed by ETC, it's only a 25% reduction at most.

I pretty much main Greygrey, though I suck. Here are at least my two cents.

It's ok to die as long as you get a minimum of one kill. Learn when to dive in and out, you can use your dive outs offensively to close the gaps on low health targets. Q can be used for movement (although the effect is limited). An important thing is to know when to use inner beast. If possible you want to keep auto attacking at range, even if you're just hitting the tank until you know when to jump in.

You're able to clear camps by yourself at high level.
