Is it just me, or are the 3 problem classes the ones that are featured on the Shadowverse webshow? Haven only reached cancer tier, because of the overbuff from DE, which will probably mean an equally reactionary overnerf. But, Arisa, Isabelle, and Erika have always been cancer. I don't know if there's an official one, most of the dirtbros here are probably cobbling together and fiddling with odd decks because it's not really viable most of the time. The useful cards are Scrap Iron Golem, Apprentice Alchemist, Crafty Warlock, Ancient Alchemist, Petrification, Juno's Secret Laboratory, and Pascale along with whatever sigil generators you want and maybe a lategame wincon like Satan or Olivia.

D.Shifts primary use is countering PtP. It completely shitting control, and lesser combo decks is just a bonus. The deck is epitome of design space limitation, and the worst case of "speed bump" I've seen in a CCG in a long time. Warrior is more like Dshift to me. If you play Control it is basically impossible to win so the only decks that have any chance are the absolute fastest aggro decks.

Warrior is way stronger than Dshift in general though. Nothing will ever be more cancer than Warrior. People are complaining about Shaman, but Warrior has done to the entirety of HS as Midrange Shaman did to this meta. If you were allowed to, tournament players would have always just ran three Warrior decks since you can easily do a OTK, control, and aggro all way better than any other class.

This is why I quit Hearthstone because the devs have too much favoritism for certain classes. THey always give Warrior bullshit taunts and armor gains and cheap removal that will burn most opponents out. Hunters finally get a decent card like Call of the Wild and then they nerf it just because fuck Hunters. Justicar gives Warrior 4 armor per turn while Justicar only gives hunter 3 damage. Like how the fuck is that even fair. Justicar wouldn't even be played in Hunter anyway but why does justicar double the strength of everyone's hero power except Hunter. It's fucking retarded.

Storm is now exclusive to Dragon, Blood, Gilgamesh, and Tyrant. Every other card that has Storm becomes Rush. D.Shift increased to 25 PP, PtP to 35 shadows, and Seraph to turn 9, to make up for the less aggressive environment.

I don't really hate any class, nothing really makes me feel like I'm dragging my face across fiberglass, but I do really hate when people act like Sword is some kind of underdog when it's arguably the best class right now.

My favorite is actually Shadow but swearing allegiance to any one class is stupid and the only reason I won't play a particular deck or class is because I don't have the cards for them.

It's easy to climb with because it's cheap and abuses a lot of cards that are pretty obvious nerf targets. It is also the easiest deck in the entire game to pilot, bar none. I beat the ncps elite with my other decks but I want to have a good Runecraft deck. My problem seems to be the spell boost cards. I can't seem to get a good ratio of spell boosts and active spells to boost them up with. Always get cards just waiting to be used.

The cards waiting to be spell boosted are core to the deck but that also means you're drawing cards that are going to be sitting in your hand. Instead of being played right away to populate your field and put pressure on the opponent.

I didn't want to be a faggot but guess I'll go look at guides, like a pleb.

So wait, these 4 drops (fencer, cudgel, the guy from dragon, etc) came with darkness evolved? I thought they were in the base game from the get go. Does that mean there's a chance they introduce some good key cards for free next month to save shadow, dragon and blood?

Because before DE going first was better.
At first, second player only got the extra evo and the turn 4 evolve and not the extra card, and it was heavily skewed towards player 1. I can't remember how much but it was bad. Then they let second player draw an extra card, and first player was still winning, but only by around 1~2%.
Then DE came out and second player started winning by around 5% on average. I don't exactly know how since they didn't change anything between going first and second.

I am also a Steam player. It's not a new/old player thing, it's a "being shit at analysis" thing or "justifying your failure by exaggerating your obstacles" thing. Shadow isn't really a fundamentally weak or poorly designed class, it just fell behind the curve slightly on account of not getting a ton of powerful tools out of the expansion. And I say that lightly because they still got things such as:

- Lord of the Flies
- Spirit Cycle
- Ceridwen
- Rise of the Dead
- Bone Chimera the Aggro Killer
- Charon
- Dark Conjurer
- DEATHBRAND
- Spartoi Soldier

And arguably Deathchaser and Midnight Haunt. All of these are good cards.

Everyone here thinks in absolutes though and they're fucking idiots. Then again people here also think that fucking Mordecai is a good card.
