Not CW, but tournaments. There's a tab on the main website, anyone can join them. Unless there's a holiday or such, there's usually two 1v1s, three 3v3s, and a 5v5 every week. The payouts are shit compared to the golden age, were a good team could make 3-10k a week. However even through the 1v1s and 3v3s you can make ~2k a week, which pays for your premium time, gold training crews/skill resets, and eventually tanks or converting enough freeXP that you never have to deal with stock tanks ever again.

The 1v1s are easy, lots of people don't even show up. Even if you have no idea what you're doing you can make 100 gold just for showing up on time, which at least pays for equipment demounts.

Is the T26E5 really the new pioneer of tier 8 premium tanks that I'd regret not buying later on? I already have a Type 59 that I love, but I'm willing to buy this thing if it makes a shitload of credits and is decent in even tier 10 battles. AMX Liberté just won't do for me, no point in having that front armor while basically every tier 6 pens the huge side. If I enjoy playing my T32, would I love the Patriot? T32 has ~150mm EA on its machine gun, Patriot has 203mm flat.
T32 has two 38mm hatches (~50mm EA) above the UFP, Patriot just has autobounce 41mm in the same area.
T32 has a ~130mm EA ridge on the top of the turret that can be hit from the front, the same ridge has had its armor more than doubled on the Patriot.
T32 has 25 degrees hull traverse if it gets flankeed, Patriot has 30 plus the obvious advantage of a faster-firing gun in not getting flanked in the first place.

The only real weakpoints the Patriot has head-on are the LFP (roughly the same as the T32) and a very small ~150mm EA line at the bottom of the turret (which can largely be hidden using the gun and hull features).

Honestly a rating based matchmaker in this game would be awful, you will only go vs people in meta tanks and full gold loadouts every time.

I would like a 1+1- tier system, a tier 8 tank is relevant in a tier 9 game but its fodder in a heavy tier 10 game, especially tier 8 mediums since they only have mobility advantage over the heavies of the same tier unlike tier 9 where mediums get better DPM than the heavies.

hull armor is great in tier 8 matches, in tier 9/10 i play it like a heavyum and abuse the great gun depression and turret armor on it
its 230 pen standard already makes it more viable than other tanks in high tier matches.

honestly thing thing can do everything, its mobile, well armored, good gun handling with good penetration and great DPM.

this thing literally has no major downsides, and it brings in credits like crazy.
