ramp dragon is so great because there decisions you have to make in places where you thought there was only one choice.

The lack of cards draw + ramp makes it easy to run out of cards if you just play everything on curve so you have to be careful with your cards.

Too bad it's not really viable.

I don't think I've played against a more bullshit deck than this in T2. This guy had the perfect answers to all the shit I was throwing at him. He got 2 mushussu by turn 4 to punish any of my evolves, had siegfried to instant kill my evolved trades which killed my early game. Even with Otohime and that dragonewt card with ward and storm he mangaed to just perfectly answer everthing. How the fuck do these guys draft decks this fucking nuts? Difficulty is the Y axis, so it's saying that as your time spent playing increases, if the difficulty stays too easy, you will grow bored.

Difficulty doesn't increase with time, that is dependent on the game. If the game starts too difficult (low time, high difficulty) you are in frustration land, but if the game remains too easy over time (high time, low difficulty,) you'll be in boredom land.

Less redundancy.

There are plenty of win condition cards that are succinct about it. Ironically, Path to Purgatory is more reliable and consistent than that Ragnarok's 'Path to Apocalypse'. The point was Guardian Sun Satan is about the only thing that stops him dead, but Satan with 2-3 turns probably kills it and/or you first. Needing to do that much board clear pulse damage felt like it was written to spite Guardian Sun and wards stalling from taking face damage. Or I guess DShift if it hits and counts down on their turn, but it'd still help them kill you first.

For an "I want a hard counter" win condition card, being more likely to kill you or force both to lose is pretty sad.

I tweaked my Dirt deck upon anon's advice and I'm already seeing a massive improvement. Last card is 2 Junos btw.

Switching out Rami and Remi was the main thing. The problem is that the card is way too passive and does very little against aggro.

With oldman you can effectively get rid of 2 threats with only 3 mana, and without spending an earth sigil to boot. It's like the dragon 4-drop only better. Oldman's only 4/4 after evo but he's really there to buy time for you to drop a Juno.

The Merlin is just there to guarantee you the card draw. Which is actually very useful.

Well, I've seen a lot of D-shift rune players tech it in specifically for removing Seraph and/or Elana. It doesn't /have/ to have an Earth Rite to funtion you know. That's just how high value a card it is. Kaleidoscopic Glow can be devastating too, especially to stuff like Aria

I don't think Natures Guidance is broken. Tia and Cynthia are strong, but I also think classes need cards like that to make people want to play them. Roach and Ancient elf need adjustments though I agree on that. If they change them though they are going to need to look at the class overall though because I don't think it works if those two are shit.

This is a slow defensive deck, so it is often a good idea to keep death sentence if you are going first, or priest if you are going second. Sometimes mulling aria is okay if you are against aggro blood, but should be kept in other circumstances. Naturally if you have dogma you would keep aria even against aggro blood. Weakest match up is going second against mirror since its usually an auto lose. To win against dshift you will probably need double beast call in your first 5 draws. You should probably concede against earth rite to save time. Make sure to always keep a 3 drop when playing against forest, this is so the turn three ancient elf doesn't attack face/forces the sylvan justice.

Elana is completely broken, you simply need to look at the card itself and the other available cards in the deck to see that the value you get from the amulet is bizarre. Just compare it to banner (which also costs 1 PP more) which only grants offense. Elana grants haven the retarded combination of 5+ heals and dragon-tier follower spam every turn. Low risk low investment massive returns.

Why would elana/seraph tech against csword when that's a matchup they like? Csword is the one replacing shit for odin to make the matchup not an instant loss.
And teching against aggro/burn with seraph/elana is just just missing the point of the deck. The hybrid was made to worsen the matchup against those very decks to run the seraph and healing prayers.
If you really wanted to beat those you would run normal elana instead of diluting your seraph deck with lucifer.

I played the Flame and Glass deck extensively in A0, but can only get about a 50% win rate. Glass gives you another excellent anti-aggro option, but the need to reduce at least one DS's cost down to 3-4 makes it very restrictive. I needed to run a full set of sorcery cache and tilt toward very low cost spells. It does reduce the demand for Merlin since there is only 1 spellboost card you need to draw.

Carry summon ice if you want to counter Forte. One the turns she come out, you should be able to wipe the board and then summon ice at least after the first Forte.
