Depends what you are against.

The standard ones are usually Insight, Conjure Golem and maybe Windblast/Summon Snow. Levi is good to keep vs Aggro.

Vs Haven you definately want Kaleidoscope and vs Rune, you normally keep D-Shift in case it's the mirror.

Bro, I don't know what shitter experience you have but top aggro decks rarely run draw, and if they do it's for reload and not consistency. Decks without Avants, decks without Blood Pact, decks without Plea all have success in Masters and in tournaments. You could argue that they're worse than lists with, it's up there, close enough that the argument exists, but the fact of the matter is that aggro doesn't need to generate its own advantage to win just looking at the evidence.

I'm left to wonder if you've played any card games before or if you learned everything you did from your last two weeks sitting around Reddit, because I don't think you understand advantage at all.

Every time I play vs Shadow while climbing they get so close from winning and then everything goes downhill.
I feel like if Shadow had ONE more high tier card (like Cerberus, Otohime, Aurelia, Tia etc) they would be in a much better place. It pains me to watch because I really enjoy playing shadow in arena.

Some legendaries are shit and some bronze are really good. Animated cards are unrelated to their rareness, it's like a seperate thing. Every card in the game can be animated, you can have a legendary non-animated and another version of the same legendary that's animated. The animated is rarer than the normal version but it's the same card gameplay-wise.

Rarity order goes like this:

Legendary (Iridescent) > Gold (Super Rare) > Silver (Rare) > Common (Bronze)

All cards can be animated, there's some's some percentage that decides it. I think it's like, 8%?

Animation makes them extra-valuable when liquefying cards into vials (for example, an animated Legendary liquefies for 2500 vials versus a Legendary usually liquefying for 1000) and you cannot create them via vials, only obtainable through booster pulls. Otherwise it's just a cosmetic element that arbitrarily makes them worth more vials than a non-animated card..

People are running those + petrify as a Fiery Embrace that doesn't clog Merlin draws when you're fishing for your combo. The golem provides some stall while petrify gives you some added utility against amulet-based MUs.
Alternatively, Calamitous as AoE removal.

Most of the time you use it you're going 1-for-1 and don't get much mana advantage either, unless you kill an already weakened big follower which probably already ate one of your guys.
The only time it overperforms is against cheap last word minions, AKA Shadow

Blood control is both extremely expensive and not that great at the moment.

It's very fun though, and it does do quite well against Haven which is the most popular class. I would suggest building other decks first, since just like HS you're not going to be playing expensive control right off the bat.

The card shits on shadow but it's still strong against nearly every other class. The only other 2-cost card that really comes close is Wild Hunt and that has a harder conditional property to meet on turns 2 and 3. It's one of the most difficult decks to play since you need to be aware of how you can be bursted down, it's also pretty expensive and competitive but not high tier.

It's really only strong during the early-game; during the mid to late-game it falls off a bit since most followers have more health, meaning they must be damaged before you can use it on them so other removal options are better.

You don't need to spend money, the game is very generous. You start off with a bunch of free packs and the game showers you with gold and vials.
Aggro is also not the only budget option at all, Elana Haven is very budget-friendly, and DShift and Seraph Haven are also relatively pretty inexpensive. Legendaries really aren't that hard to come by compared to HS.
