Warrior actually, that's why I don't want her to grapple or climb. I used scather as primary before and she insisted on climbing cyclops so I changed it to mitigator/challenger/utilitarian, but now she's much shyer about charging the enemy. And she's still using grapple which means utilitarian being tertiary is not low enough. I'm about to try swapping utilitarian with scather, but I am still worried about conflict of interest because of mitigator/challenger combo.

If I'm a magick archer, what other classes would be good to get some levels in?

Because everybody wants to make unique snowflake and use completely body/face different parts. The best way is to use the provided loli preset and work with it without moving too far away.

Here we go again. Is hard mode good for someone who has played the game a ton before? I wanted a real challenge, but I heard it gets kinda easy later on since rewards are doubled. Is it going to become boring?

Oh, and is Mystic Knight satisfying on PC? I can only imagine it's a million times better with the better framerate and the frames not being lost every time you slamfuck your orbs.

I've been going there since level 20 (and only sometimes carried by a lvl 60 mage pawn)
It starts off easy then gets harder the further you go in, although there is random difficulty spikes.
The second or third boss you'll find is a cockatrice that's very doable for lvl 30-40, but in the hallways around it are a rapesquad of special hobgoblins who I couldn't even scratch before they stomped my shit. It's a lot of fun going in underlevelled, though.

bbi is doing even at level 1, but i REALLY wouldn't recommend it if it's your first time playing this game.

So how exactly does this 'item will be worn as a gift' thing work when equipping hired pawns?
If I equip an weapon on a pawn I've hired, will I then be unable to unequip it again beacuse it will be considered the pawn's 'property' and sent back to the owner once I release the pawn? What if I give an item to a pawn and it then gets killed off, for example by falling off a cliff. Do I get the item back or is it sent to the owner of the pawn?

The moment you equip a hired pawn with an item it's gone from you for good, it's considered a gift.
If that pawn dies it's gone even if you rehire, but that pawns owner gets that item once you send the pawn back and rest.

I spent about 2 hours last night trying to get to the castle through the main road.
Cleared everything before those guys then got killed by that dude since he can 3 shot me by using the heavy attack and his attack is faster than the duration of my stun.
The next 4 times I tried I was more careful but had to move in to revive a pawn and he killed me with one(1) off-screen blink strike.
I hate that part so much, only the fact that I was too angry and too deep into the session was the only reason I didn't just ragequit.

DD's pretty great, but there are a few things they should've taken from Dark souls' book. Item usage is a "pause the game and heal" thing, and not all vocations have good evasion/blocking options.

Combat is still fun as fuck and suprisingly varied, so go for it.

Got a few words i think...
Weapon variety is scarce, most vocations only have 2 types of weapons. No spears/polearms, axes, rapiers, crossbows.
Actual bosses are anticlimatic damage sponges that pose no real treat to experinced players and are a chore to newcomers.
The main story arc feels completely rushed and the mainland is a wasteland, nothing over nothing with a few baddies scattered about.
If it wasnt because of the pawns i would probably say this game is mediocre, they are the real kicker. Its like having a puppy that never actually grows up and just learns some new tricks backwards. That and the gameplay of course.
Combat is fluent and responsive, faster phased and generally more varied. Magic exists but it hides behind enourmous cast times. Still worth the wait though.
Bows also feel great and are quite effective.
Also, did i mention you can climb things?

Home now. Have you rested at an inn since making those posts? Doing so would've updated the pawns which might've increased their levels.

I just got the PC version, but for whatever reason, I can only get 24 FPS with slight stuttering... No more, no less. No settings can budge the framerate either upwards nor downwards. I can have it on maximum or minimum, there is ZERO difference.

It's as if it's locked to 24 FPS, even though tried having FPS locking off and on 60. Again, nothing seems to affect the framerate or the slight stuttering.

I have a pretty beefy computer with a GTX 1070, so I should definitely not have any problems running this, so something must be fucking with my game somehow.

I tried asking around on the forums and I tried every fix I could find, but nothing worked. Please guys, help me!

The game is really all about "the little things".
Sure you can slash goblins with your sword. But if you REALLY want to hurt them, you better make sure you got a fire boon on your weapon.
Of course you can kill Lizards head on, but chopping of the tail and kill them afterwards is usually faster.
Heck, you can even chop the life bar of a cyclops bit by bit by just attacking the foot. However you'll have a better time if you take care of that face (2x tusk, 1 Eye) first.

It's all about the team.
So yes, you alone will prolly not do much damaged (on your own).
Could be completely wrong though.
