As for your build, I wouldn't run triple Powerload + Terra. Put in limiter and some s/t removal.

Some of my favorite toys in a Dinomist deck are Eisbahn, which is perfect for hindering your opponent and giving Pteran some easy targets to run over and search off, and Echo Oscillation is a +1 every turn if used in conjunction with Charge.

Maybe throw in Gear Gigant and Ragnazero in that Extra too. Zero works wonders with Plesios.
You'll also want Number 37. It's a must-have.

Other than that that's a pretty solid deck.

Well konami constantly keeps throwing out support for them and they're generally a lot faster. I mean its always been a solid synchro deck and you can't really go wrong with something like that for locals if you have the right build for it.

I feel like I can't get back into Yugioh. Arc-V isn't different enough from the other series for me to care. The gameplay is way too focused on doing lots of shit in your hand and sending cards back and forth along all the damn zones. Hearthstone doesn't have nearly as many cool cards, but there's so much more you can do with simple card plays as they contribute to the flow of a battle. I think Yugioh needs a fucking reset- maybe make the whole game based on Pendulum zones, because as an archetype it's overly powerful and overly shitty at once. Nyeh.

The new Fusion and Ritual archetypes were strong but killed the flavor of the cards so that they barely felt different from other effect monster archetypes. And now every card has so much text that it's boring. I'm waiting for the game to fucking reset.

Pulling off a special summon used to feel special, especially with fusion or ritual. Now with them, and most archetypes, summons aren't really fun, you're just expecting your cards to get field-removed in some way, so that you can cycle through your cards again. To me, all that fiddling and cycling being present in nearly every play style makes the game bland. Practically every card archetype uses every zone as a resource, so sets of cards barely even feel distinct.

In Hearthstone, winning happens by manipulating the way mana and hp and cards get played out, and you can do it by making just a few very considerate choices each turn. The game has some huge balance flaws, but achieving victory is generally a more engaging process in my opinion. Even the worst cards have unique gimmicks that can actually score wins.

To me, discovering the best way to utilize a unique card with simple mechanics is more fulfilling than getting good with a 7-sentence abomination.

Not saying there isn't still a lot of depth in Yugioh or that there isn't fun to be had in the unique strengths of archetypes, but for me, each turn is way less fun than a game like HS.

Without hard OPT, things like Nekroz and Rulers could never have been printed. I am not fond of these restrictions either, but they're a necessary evil and people who use Day-Grepher collateral damage.

Yugioh's reached a point where any good card that also isn't hard OPT has enough good shit supporting it that you can turn 1 do Enterblathnir loops, summon The World or outright FTK your opponent via Blaze Fenix or something else equally dumb. Infernities weren't poorly designed because they were good at toolboxing and could interact with the gamestate in a lot of different ways, but because you could banish your opponent's entire hand turn 1 pretty consistently or sit on an Archfiend with three barriers and just not let your opponent play. They're what kickstarted the whole turn 1 no fun allowed era of Yugioh, actually.

More generic materials, PROBABLY not a nomi (it's that or a contact fusion), and an effect that either gives it 1000 ATK when battling, or sets its ATK to equal to the opponent's monster's ATK/DEF +100 (since both times it beat Golem it hit 3100 via Skyscraper, just 100 higher than Golem's ATK/DEF).

Though, Honesty Neos' effect will never allow it to gain 5000ATK, or grant that boost, like how Honest's first use was, so they could make some (even more) worthless shit.
