Battle shout generates 55 threat x1.3 in def stance for each party member receiving the buff. Thats 357 on all mobs when used once.

Can this ability be spammed for ghetto AoE tanking, or does it only apply if they literally receive a fresh buff? Tank guides don't seem to mention it often.


Also: Q about unassisted multi account use. I keep getting conflicting info on this. Will they ban you if they catch you alt tabbing between two accounts? I was pondering attempting to level two classes at once, no idea how viable it is in a heavy PVP scenario.

Frost Mage is really mana efficient.
You got 45% mana regeneration while casting and Frostbolt barely costs any mana.
You got managems which you can make a before a fight and basically pop on cooldown, Evocation which fully regenerates your mana and mana pots.
Hunters got some mana problems on long fights so they should use mana oil on their weapons and pop mana pots + runes.

Battle Shout is the least effective way to tank multiple mobs in 5 man content. Battle Shout, when hitting 5 people, does more threat/GCD than Sunder and more than Revenge with 6 targets. However, the threat is divided between all targets in combat and this is really, really bad for tanking. The real problem is still the divided threat: outside of a very few specific pulls in 5 man instances, your group won't be AoEing right off the bat. In order words, you'll still have a priority target or two (Skull and X) to take down before you can AoE the rest of the mobs. This means you need to hold aggro on one or two targets while your DPS kills them before they start their AoE and if you're relying on Battle Shout, you simply won't have enough threat to hold aggro on Skull/X.

Racials are purely min/max stuff that you really don't need to base your choices on, especially as alliance. Unless you're a priest, then you need to go Dwarf.

Nelf are considered to have overall the weakest racials in the game and the only thing you get that will benefit you as a warrior is +1% dodge, but the difference in performance you'd get by going human, dwarf or gnome is really negligible.

Why are dwarf priests so important?
