Oh well i will copy and paste ( since its cooler ) the question i asked while the previous thread was reaching the bump limit.

Stupid question but i have been out of the 3ds scene for around 6 months or so. I just updated my a9lh and its working fine.

I have been reading the pastebins and focusing in one (http://pastebin.com/cE8EmydS) and i just found out that now we can download tickets directly from the cucks and it is even advertised as the best method, even better than downloading the cia from 3dsiso.

Now the question lies in if that really is the case i mean if i have to look at objectively it seems like a bad idea, but it would be comfy as fuck, ready to fuck us up sooner or later. Now having said that should i really go for the CIAngel meme or just continue dowloading cias in the old school way?

TL;DR: Are the tickets really the best, and most secure, way to download games for the 3ds or is it better to keep lurking and downloding from 3dsiso?.

Another problem following Plailect's guide here.

So I'm trying to launch the SafeA9LHInstaller so I can get to installing arm9loaderhax. But the problem is that I don't understand where it should be on the SD card. In the previous section, I had a crap ton of files to move onto the SD card.

Among them was a "3ds" folder that came from the Starter kit folder. When you extract the content from SafeA9LHInstaller, you get another 3ds folder, an Arm9loaderhax.bin and a SafeA9LHInstaller.dat (these names may not be exact, but you got an idea of where I am). In that 3ds folder is another folder which contains the SafeA9loader launcher (the .3dsx file?) plus another .smdh type file with the same name.

My problem is that I decided to copy the SafeA9Installer folder (the one with just the .3ds file and mdh file) to the root and the .dat file to the root as well. It gave me a pure black screen.

When I copied the contents straight from unzipping it to the root, (where I ended up with a SafeA9LHInstaller folder which contains a 3ds folder, SafeA9LHInstaller.dat and armloaderhax9.bin and the 3ds folder contains the .3dsx and .smdh files) the launcher told me to place the launcher file in the same place as the .dat file.

What am I supposed to do with the /3ds/ folder and the .smdh file? I know I don't need the armloader9hax.bin file.

...I just found out about it after biting the bullet and copying the folder over (I have always avoided this because I always change folder names to make sure none overlap). Holy hell did I just dodge a missile by being too lazy to do these file transfers on the command line. So now launching the installer makes my system go into a black screen. Why is unlinking my sysnand and emunand a good thing and what can I do once I've done it.

I did the downgrade dance setting up reinand on 9.2 months ago and remember that being an optional step, but I don't remember anything about it.
I didn't care at the time because installing cia's with FBI worked, but I find I'm having trouble lately.
