Right now, on the 3DS, once you finished the installation process (which is really easy now) there's nothing to manage. Everything will work like it normally does.

The game won't have online upload (No ID searching), which I am fine with it, but it will have online download of selected / random Wii U levels and streetpass sharing. I live on a campus that doesn't support 3DS internet anyway, so I see no problem with just creating levels by myself, occassionally getting random levels from strangers and if I manage to connect to the unsupported wireless here I can download a few courses maybe. Perhaps Nintendo will come around and patch online sharing sometime later.

tl;dr my 3DS got splashed with water because it was charging near the kitchen's sink

The 3DS was still running when I got to it hours later, DB Fusions post-fight screen was there, but I'm having problems with my buttons: A and B probably are humid inside, as they are mushy and don't work 2 out of 3 times. L or R (I can't really tell) is stuck because it keeps cycling through the menus' tabs

What can I do in this situation? It's already turned off and I left it on top of a towel to dry, do I have to pry the thing open to clean it? It's still dripping a bit of water from god knows where

The full story is that I'm back at my parents' house for Thanksgiving and the whole family is here, so it's a battle for outlets since everyone has decided to own a phone, a tablet, a kindle and whatever else has a big shiny screen and attracts normies

The only free outlet I could get was in the kitchen, side by side with the appliances and such. It wasn't actually near the actual sink, but on top of the cabinet. I should have done that, but my entire family (except my parents) are incredibly technically inept. If I tried to explain that you don't need a fully charged kindle as they last weeks on half a charge, they would try to argue with me about their cousin's friend etc etc

Post game in PSMD is pretty good. The Connection Orb mechanic is love-it-or-hate-it because it removes the random missions element and makes it so you don't have to grind missions over and over hoping certain wandering Pokemon will join your party.
It's important to note that the dungeon gameplay is the best in the series but the story is trash.
So I guess it comes down to the question of how much do you love the dungeon-crawling in Mystery Dungeon games.
If you love the dungeon-crawling then get it.
If you don't love the dungeon-crawling then possibly hold off until you can pick up for cheaper and also why are you playing a dungeon-crawler if you don't like dungeon-crawling?

3D Fantasy Zone: The Tears of Opa-Opa is kicking my ass.
I can consistently get up to Round 5 without a problem but that boss demolishes me every time.

Mom got a new TV for black friday, which means I got her old 60" Samsung and I wanted an HD console to play on it. Not interested in PS4 since I've already played Bloodborne and I don't play many games besides Pokemon and Dark Souls these days. Wii U has a few curios I'm interested in (pic related). Do you really think Switch ports are going to run or look better than they do on the Wii U? Also I don't really see WWHD, Pikmin 3, and #FE getting ported. And a Pokken port/sequel will probably take a year or more due to needing a lot more content to justify it.

I plan on getting a Switch too eventually, but it probably won't be at launch and I don't really want to wait 4-12 months to play video games on my new TV.

My biggest concern is that it might stop working in two weeks because it's a refurbished model.

When you lose a battle, do you still get sent to the nearest pokemon center?

My real qustion though, being if there are any battles you can choose to lose? Such as, on the third island at the recycle/dump place (i remember like no names), can i choose to lose to the father's son? I feel bad if i have to beat him man, he almost has everything to gain from beating me. I mean, its nintendo, so it would probably end positively for him somehow if i beat him, but man... I would feel better losing to him honestly. Even if im twice his level.

So I need some 3ds help.
I have a 3DS XL that's got a stripped screw on the left backplate screw and it's been this way for like 2 years and I've tried everything and the thing just won't budge. The problem is I tried to take the backplate off once to clean some water that spilled and I didn't put the plate back on correctly, so the back plate just dangles there and I'm unable to pop it back in. And the screw is too stripped for me to make it come off.
What do guys?

I've tried rubber bands, all different kinds of small flat heads and this tiny little screw is being a shit.

Seriously someone explain why nintendo doesn't include a charger with the new 3ds. My friend wanted to get back into pokemon so he got one but I had to warn him that it doesn't come with a charger so he'd have to get one and he asked why and I couldn't think of a reason. That's so stupid. He can afford a $10 charger that's not the point the point is what is their reason for not including one? How do they expect you to play it without a charger? It's the holiday season you know some parent is going to get their kid a new 3ds without realizing it doesn't come with a charger because really who would think it doesn't? It's a non-standard charger because it doesn't use a regular USB contact. To my understanding of the issue, this means they'd have to pay taxes to ship the system to countries in the EU. I disagree with your position in regards to the overall quality of the movie but I hated the "real world" aspect.
I'm too tired to go into detail but that kid was 100% percent in the wrong. Without a shadow of a doubt, he was wrong and it annoys me that the movie was presenting him as being correct.
Did you see all that fucking Lego in the basement? That was an extraordinary amount of Lego. You can see that not only was it a large financial investment but a large time investment as well. That guy clearly loves his Lego and he's got his own preference for how to use it. He loves collection and building these sets for display. It's his hobby and you can from the design of that set alone that is a hobby he is incredibly passionate about.
And yet, the movie paints him in a negative light because of the way he enjoys Lego. The kid just wants to bang shit together and this is shown as somehow more legitimate than creating a visual display and show piece.
And look at the kids reaction when he's told (by a father who has had his pride and joy ruined by a child who has explicitly been told not to touch it) that his sister is allowed to use the Lego as well. He is shocked. It is a negative emotional reaction. From his standpoint, it's okay for him to use the Lego room but not his sister.
The Lego Movie isn't about a poor neglected child whose mean dad won't play with him. It's about a spoiled little brat who gets pissy when someone has a toy that he doesn't have.

Crazy constructions is just as valid a way to appreciate LEGO as building as displays or even just keeping them in their boxes and never taking them out.

You can splurge on a 3,000 piece set to build a scale model Porsche. You can make little fan works inspired by movies or video games that you love. You can even just collect the boxes and preserve them in pristine condition.
Lego is a universal construction kit and can be everything from a children's toy to a smale-scale engineering kit. Trying to limit a person's creativity by saying they can only use Lego in one way just shows you don't know understand the universal appeal of Lego.

Yes, it does. That is the driving force behind Emmet's character arc. He doesn't achieve his potential until he stops trying to fit in with everyone else. The central theme being presented within the animated portion is based around each character unique method of doing things solving problems.
Just look at the double-decker couch or Benny's spaceship. This goes against how it portrays the father.

If the father bought the sets for his kids and was telling them they could only build in a certain way, then this portion of the movie would make a lot more sense and would compliment the rest of the movie. But this was his personal hobby being interfered with. Not understanding this shows an incredible lack of critical thinking.

That's an original Red 3ds, got it when they first came out. I played Kid Icarus religiously on it for a while, the controls on that game are absolutely harsh. Plus, I didn't use the console for the last year so the glue under the pad dried up, I think because the next time I picked it up it started to fell and it was sticky around the pad.

How to survive being a nintendrone in an underdeveloped country?

So I've decided I don't really like my Legend of Zelda n3DS XL all that much (it was a gift), and according to nintendo only the bottom faceplate is swappable. Would you guys recommend getting a decal for it or is that as trashy as I think it is?
