I'll never forgive Hearthstone for that, part of the reason I dropped the game. They hate burst damage just way too much over there.

We've noticed that both PtP Elf and Tempo Elf are topping the tier lists at the moment, but we don't like how some powerful Elf cards that were built for more normal Elf decks still end up being run in PtP Elf. Rhinoceroach is the biggest offender, helping PtP Elf close out games with by just curving out then applying a burst combo without even using PtP. As such, we will be changing Rhinoceroach from a 2PP 1/1 to a 5PP 3/3 to signifigantly reduce its bounce synergy and make mid-game Roach combos less potent, but keep it strong as a lategame finisher against control.

Mordecai is REALLY slow because you have to pull it out on turn 8 or later and they have an entire turn to Odin it or banish in some other way. If you get more than one out it can take over the game but hes not great compared to win condition cards
I don't run ATomy but it seems a lot like draw luck to me, you would need a board of really low cost shit and nothing valuable for it to be worth it, or alternatively using phantom howl with an empty board

Mordecai is pretty good in control/midrange. Atomeme is pretty inconsistent since you pretty much have to use him in an aggro deck so if he goes away you'll pretty much lose unless you have Ceridwen. Even then if they remove him again it sucks.

Pascale is usually more of a late game value drop to give your wards enough kick to fight off control shenanigans than she is an outright win condition. The board is usually too volatile turns 4-7 against any deck that actually fights back to really get big value out of her. She can also be an OK "oh shit" drop for 5 if you just need a body on curve to fight for board

i find that it's much easier to beat dshift before they clear the board than to beat elanas heal/boost power. they just crush my wall with no hope left and dirt rune isn't quick enough to outdamage the heals while getting royally fucked by cudgel. ptp hasn't been that much of an issue i think.

There's your problem. Even aside from that, having all those exact cards to combo with in hand and still having an evolve on turn 8 is really inconsistent, especially when you include the fact that again, Mary need to somehow live a turn to get that crazy.

Just because you got terribly unlucky one time doesn't mean the card needs to be different. It's not like Mary has any sort of self-preserving effect, she's just a 4/5. Frankly, if you can't remove Mary the turn after she hits the board, you deserve to get combo'd a new asshole.

Once again this falls under the category of "completely preventable shit". Don't leave the combo deck's combo piece alive. I don't understand why that's such a hard concept to grasp. This isn't Dshift where you physically can't kill their combo piece because you're not getting another turn once it hits, or Forest where they drop piles of combo all over the board and you might have to leave some of it alive. It's Blood, just throw a spell at the Lykos and punch his face in for him being so slow that you had 19 health on turn 10.

Whenever you create a deck ever single card is given at random a seed value between 0 - 1. This seed value is used in what can essentially be called the shuffling algorithm that governs the card distribution of every game you play. Cards with seed values closer to 1 are significantly more likely to appear in your opening hand and the top few draws of your deck and conversely the cards with seed values closer to 0 will almost always be at the bottom of your deck.
