So I just got this and installed on a drive that wasn't a SSD thinking it was no big deal.

The 'pop in' is fucking awful, along with me having middle-tier specs. Is installing on C drive just a meme or does it actually help the game run noticeably better?

The only thing that seems to work is high end mode but then the game runs like shit (24-30 fps at best) because it ups graphics to the highest possible setting.

I used a trial thing back on release, my complain was that it seemed people had to min max their route shit to make a ton of money when not playing, and that people progress too much while idling like watching a movie and making horses run to sell them after they level up stuff like that.

Can I just play this like 4 hours a day and ignore the "afk/idling" things and still be viable and have a guild that wants me and all that? Also probably won't spend more than the $9.99 package.

Hello, i saw the sales and i thought that it might be time i consider this game, but i want to ask a few things by actual active players instead of googling for
potentially biased blog posts.

I have a boring job that sometimes requires me to sit in front of a desk with a decent pc and do nothing, i use mmos to fill that time by doing mundane tasks
like gathering shit and killing weak monsters for loot or xp, it relaxes me while also feeling like i am slowly and autistically working towards a goal.
What i want to ask is how is this game in that aspect, can i do brain dead farming content that matters? for example i cant play ffxiv on the job because
pretty much all that matters happens in dungeons and raids and because sometimes i am required to stop playing if someone walks in i cant do that.

Get ~300 contribution so you can turn in 150 imperial crates a day. Imperial crates mats gathered from workers make a passive 47,250,000 silver a day at 315k imperial packs, can do higher or lower crates depending on your mats for alchemy/cooking then turn in a days worth of processing boxes for ~100m to the valencia port using master 2 trade buff (50 energy to activate) Just ship the packs from epheria to the port and walk over when you want to turn them in. You do need literally every node connected and worked on pretty much, thus the ~300 contribution, im using 260rn on nodes and then I have a chest taken out to store imperial packs in next to turn in

look into imperial alchemy/cooking and get passive 30-50m a day depending on your contribution+mats you have gathered by workers. Probably pick a low tier pack that sells for ~217k if your new and just work towards having workers collect the mats. Heres a pretty decent guide http://dulfy.net/2016/08/10/black-desert-imperial-trading-guide/ Keep rerolling workers for bonus crate making workers, like ore crates, timber crates, etc. This lets them make multiple crates at houses in cities at once. When you eventually have enough contribution and workers you start making literally every crate possible on the left side of the map and shipping them to the right side of the map. When you get master 2 trading (you can look up guides theres a ton for power leveling it in around 30 hours) it gives a 50% bonus in crate price turn in. If your new, just look at imperial alchemy/cooking it will take you a long time to get set up completely

i can survive 2-3 bursts from a geared ranger/sorc/warrior and can usually kill them in 1 grab chain

berserker also gets some healing skills
our 100% is a big AoE stun that heals us pretty much back to full health

and we can just curl up in a ball and heal ourselves back to full health
