Weapon comes first, if you can kill shit fast enough then armor won't matter. Armor next and Accessories after. Especially if you're trying to upgrade them yourself.

Guys I bought the game at release and enjoyed it for a few days. I stopped playing it due to life shit i had to deal with and now I want to egt back into it, since I really really enjoyed it. However I read a lot of pay to win accusations and players dropping the game left and right because of it.

Harpooning sure has a fun interactive minigame, I thought for the first 50 catches, but the loot is abysmal for the attention required to sit around waiting for fish. It's in a bad spot of boredom between afk and active, with likely worse rewards than either. This quest to catch 4 specific yellow fish took 4 hours.

Maybe there're just some arcane rituals to harpooning I'm not aware of. Does anyone have experience with harpoon fishing here?

Personally I had to change sorc face the least and witch was a complete fuckfest all the way. Oldest classes also have the most love put to them so their body sliders aren't super wonky, compare say sorc or ranger to witch. Newer classes just have the same base as old classes but with restricted sliders for a "new" touch.

The world is huge and a bit intimidating once you want to make your way to the actual "Black Desert". Travel can be slow, by horse or by boat, so no fast travel. Most crafting takes hours, but you can have your workers mine or farm. AFK fishing has already been mentioned. Best bet is to keep the game open all the time in the background.

Depends on the class, but for the most part, yes. I don't know anything about Musa so I can't speak for that, but Valk's lance is strong but slower than her sword, so I switch between the two constantly.

I would think someone like Warrior or Ranger would choose to stay in Awakening/Standard, and Musa looks like he'd be fine with using his awakened weapon exclusively.

Just do your best, you'll get a quest to recieve a 24h skill reset to play with, so you can just save the quest and reset later.

from what I've seen so far you levels outpace your skillpoints from 1-50ish. at 56+ you start getting more skillpoints than you really need. and i only really grind with the 200% xp buff, so I assume someone doing regular grinding outpaces their level even more.
