I played a game as Italy this summer and they went to war even if I had really optimized stacks in every border province. After the third war I just deleted their cores on Savoie because it was getting ridiculous, they suffered 500k casualties per war.

racial traits are very important, and if you use ruler designer you won't have a racial trait meaning that you pretty much can't have children since they will all be stillborn. you can marry other races in game, but you can only have actual non-dead children with those of the same race. the game is also more trigger/event/flag heavy and custom rulers won't have certain flags I think. memes aside, I've never personally dealt with tomb kings but i would imagine the strategy of killing their leader so a weak one takes their place works since I know sometimes a tomb king will ascend to the throne but still have to be resurrected, rendering them incapable and -6 for all stats. I believe arabs can raid, so why not go get some juicy gold to improve your holdings for more troops??? converting to chaos also works since demons wreck shit and are maintenance free
