Hey /gsg/ I'm currently playing a game of Vicky 2 as Imperial Japan and I've run into a bit of the problem. I'm in the 1890s and have been well over the infamy limit for nearly 20 years but I still haven't gotten the ultimatum event that allows you to get the event where you drop down under 25 militancy after winning a war against the other great powers. Britain and France have each declared a containment war against me on their own (both of which I won), but because it wasn't through the event the infamy lowering event didn't occur. This is getting to be a real issue as over these 20 years my war exhaustion has steadily increased and being over the infamy limit decreases the monthly decrease in war exhaustion to 1/10 of its normal value. I'm playing on HPM 3.55 I think.

Whats wrong? Is my game bugged? Should I load a previous save?

The AI is pretty good I think since I have trouble beating them on normal as the Soviets even with like 70 hours played.
