I did this with 3 old3ds devices before, and at some point it worked for all of them. I've been doing this device for the past two weeks on and off, and I've tried browserhax over 250 times and I even tried ninjhax a handful of time. All right anons of HBG stop dicking around about pokemon for a second to help a guy in an odd situation. I got a dilemma I would like some advice on. I have an O3DS that I recently Frankensteined back into life. The only issue is that it doesn't have the top screen working. The flat flex cable holder, that tiny white piece broke off so the top screen isn't working. I have some data on an emunand dump that I want to transfer over to another 3DS. Now I have homebrew and the NAND backup but don't know which direction to go. I'm currently thinking of injecting the emuNAND into the SD card, upgrade to Luma (from the really old RXtools from early 2015), then update the emunand and transfer it over. Do you think this is a good idea and does anyone have a link to a good emu-injector?

Eurofag here, I tried following 2 different tutorials exactly (which both basically said exactly the same things) to put custom music into Sm4sh for WiiU but it doesn't seem to work at all? the SD is formatted to FAT32, and I have the .nus3bank files in /0005000010145000/sound/bgm/ but after I go through SDCafiine and boot up Sm4sh the music isn't there? Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

currently the o3DS is on 9.6 with no data. I have access to homebrew, thus can downgrade, but I cannot see the top screen making it very difficult.

I have a backup of the emunand that was on this 3ds which has all my data. To get to it I first need to inject the nand or get emuNAND working.

I use Oothax and it freezes on white (occasionally/rarely yellow) like maybe 1/3 or 1/2 the time. Really seems to depend how long you idle before opening a menu. None of these shitty entry points are ideal though can't wait for a9 on this ds slowhax can't come quick enough.

Okay, i have run into a problem.

I have a 03ds and a New3ds both hardmodded.

I want to transfer my O3ds´s savefiles to the New3ds.

Some anon at be reccomends me JKSM (https://github.com/J-D-K/JKSM)

It lets me easlyexport my saves from the O3DS, but since i had no idea on where it was saving them, i just copied all the folders made by the manager. (Filler, data, include and source) to the New3ds´s memory.

I installed the cia and it doesnt let me do shit.
Not even export saves from the New3ds.
I even tried using the folders that were included from the original JKSM .zip file.
It still didn´t do anything to solve my problem.

Can you guys please tell me if you know if i am messing something up?

That's a softmod. A hardmod is making modifications directly to the hardware, such as soldering wires to the nand chip to dump it. Also it's A9LH but that's another story.

Anyways, the JKSM in the New3DS is still refusing to load my exports from the Old3ds.
For example, since i did play Smash 3ds for a while, it lets me export that savefile no problem, but it can´t detect saves i moved from the O3DS´s sd card.

It's alright. If you've ever played FFT you'll find it somewhat familiar. SUPER easy, pretty standard anime story, and very linear. There's no class system, so you quickly find yourself picking certain units to use and relegating the rest to the bench, but if I remember correctly they still earn a portion of the EXP which makes them somewhat usable later on.

My question is If it is possible to do a nand backup on the n3ds to keep everything on there, then do a system transfer and get al9h installed, then restore the nand backup once everything is done.
