i picked it up as an f2p in oktober and got a luneth cecil; ramza team with maxed out cat lid and garland, and i just pulled exdeath and barts 5 with my daily and free ticket. So I originally wanted to TM grind for mages, but had neither Exdeath nor Arc. I lucked into a Luneth pull, and started to grind up Save the Queen and Excalibur. Now Exdeath is coming back, and I've got over 5K Lapis. What do I do? I've got dualwield and 3 Ingus ready to start grinding again.

Most of the characters die including Noctis and Luna (the bros are MIA after the final fight but it's implied that they died as well). Iris becomes a daemon hunter and Aranea leaves the Nifs army to form her own mercenary group.

The game apparently has hidden cutscenes when you're doing side quests. The rumor about the game having another ending or an extended cutscene for the ending if you 100% completed it might be true. I wouldn't be surprised since Tabata did the same thing with Type-0.

I was a month earlier than you and I got maxwell. If you got working edgars, you can cheese her with a single decent CoD friend. Get your full break and hex strike for disease on her with a cheer user into chainsaw Call of the void. A decent CoD takes about 40% of her hp, a good one can go up to 50-60%. The problem now is s/ling until she drops enough orbs each turn. Its a flimsy strategy but doable. You will get fucked in rolls a few times. Get your edgars pure defensive equips, I had mine with 2 muscle belts each. Honestly though, the maxwell unit isnt that great now and may not even get a 6 star so you shouldnt feel that bad about not getting her.

I think you should save your lapis for the next banner. Exdeath and Gil are much better than Maxwell. Might be best to cut losses, Maxwell doesnt really help in any party other than maybe limit farming.

what a fucking nightmare, the name of it could not have been more accurate. That was probably the worst battle I've ever done in RK. Ran out of hones when he was still at 70% life and had to attrition him down with beatrix BSB and commands while vanille's SSB restored 1 ability use occasionally giving someone a free diaga or summon cast. The rest of the time was spent sitting there waiting for him to kill me until I could use a new SB to do something while SS2, vanille SSB, and relm SSB kept me invulnerable.

Must have taken at least 30 minutes of real time to kill him. I'm baffled that I only lost 1 actions taken medal and still somehow mastered the fight. Thank fuck I will never have to do that again.
