Are you going to say Priest of the Cudgel is bad because Floral Fencer exists and is better? In the context of Haven, Sacred Plea is busted. The reason Haven is so strong right now is because Sacred Plea enables a strong draw engine, especially when paired with Prism Priestess. It's a class whose aggro variant can go longer than other aggro decks before running out of steam and its control variants have consistent draw to get their win conditions.

I personally think it's a combination of plea and aria, combined with powerful tools such as the best 2 cost removal which banishes and themis to reset board state while amulets keep ticking

No one likes being hit by a 3/4 and garuda in a single turn but the problem is for most decks is how completely uninteractive their gameplay is. Wave of damage on turn 5, wave of damage on turn 6.

The lack of interaction is a big theme in this expansion for certain decks imo. I don't have an issue with Haven other than people complain about it for the wrong reasons for the most part. I do have a huge issue with Runecraft though.

Runecraft isn't a real deck right now, it's just the meta police. It exists to stop the meta from getting too slow by reminding everyone else that "Hey you need to be able to win before turn 9." Once aggro bullies it out of being played again, the deck disappears once more. That doesn't sound very fun for both runecraft players and control players.

If you ignore Garuda, aggro doesn't even have good winrates in SV though. Bat and Banner both have sub 50% at high ranks.

I don't run any necromancy whatsoever and make as much use of my deathchasers as possible by evolving other mobs and making the enemy evolve to kill them off giving me an average of 5-6 shadows from them. You rack them up pretty quickly and by turn 7 you can usually put down either a midnight haunt + PtP or a Deathly Tyrant.

This game was probably one of the easiest just due to having a perfect curve going my way.

Honestly the deck itself is pretty inconsistent but it's fun to play and satisfying as fuck to win with.
