For Dshift?
Merlin is the key

Roll two of them and there's no other real cost. Dshift and Timeworn Levi are the golds I can think of. Maybe Fire Chain is gold too.

Earth rite is weaker and much more expensive, for that you want Sun Oracle Pascale and Juno's Secret Laboratory and a bunch more golds IIRC

Conjuring Force is another gold, that has it's own deck but it's weak right now

You have to understand that it's a tournament deck in a team environment, made to target particular decks. That's why you'll often see 3x odin seraph/control royal winning the weekly JCG tournaments once in a while

Midrange against storm is a very fair matchup and depends heavily on draws. If the opponent has a cudgel and you do not have a floral fencer in response it's just bad luck on your part

For the most part though as long as you curve out your first few turns there's little they can do to stop you from putting them down to 10-12ish at which point you should likely have the advantage

They don't always draw perfectly either so don't worry too much if you get blown out by double arias and double cudgels and stuff

The whole problem is their storm units are too strong. not only that but with the addition of garuda they put three follower in the field + damage to the face. Three garudas means half hp gone.

If it wasn't for that goddamn face damage the matchup would be better. But no, I don't think midrange can hold up storm. Specially because they barely put more than two followers in the field so Aurelia won't save your ass when you need.
