As a newer player this communal event in Mobius really fucking sucks. I don't have a job of every type and I can't even progress far enough to get communal rewards, much less work beyond the most basic personal one or do the fights that at least drop 4 of the items.

Great motivation for me to participate in that communal stuff when I can't actually get the rewards for it because they're locked behind hard-ass fights and its harder for me to farm the items in the first place.

Also fuck randomly getting 10 Fantomas of the same color this way.

The main road has already been unnlocked and it's actually easier than the lower battles.
Also you don't really need one of each job type to clear them. At all, you can take a mage job to the other 2 class battles and the same with the other 2 jobs.
So I recomend you just continue up and forget about the battles at the bottom.
Besides the colossi at the highest 3 battles are actually easier than the rest and you get to fight against 2.
The only problem will be defeating the crowned monsters in the battles leading to the top 3.

You can always just forget about it and continue farming sicariuses. After al, you do need to git gud

How much damage are you dealing with your kefka? If its not much you could switch him out to bc lid and proc disease on top of the full break for bigger cod damage. She can sort of fill in his roll with ultimate blow if you farmed her auras. S/L and reset if you dont get a good number of esper gauge that turn(chaining/spark helps the drop rate maybe). When doing s/l, let one of your healers hang back from their action until your are sure you want to end the turn. Also, move that att 10% to your cod and fill the empty spaces with some def 10%.

If you still have problems with Maxwell and have an Exdeath, max him out with as much lapis as you can and bumrush to finish the Olderion content for Carbuncle.

Exdeath 6* with Carbuncle is the best unit to bring against Maxwell.

I get to finally field a team of 6* units when Exdeath 6* happens on Thursday. Toblerone/CoD/Exdeath/Cecil/Refia for life until Firion/Garland/Tilith can awaken.

Retire leveling BC Lid then, her role is done thanks to Exdeath 6*. He not only can deal pretty much 1998 damage in the Arena thanks to Species Supremacy and W Meteor, but has access to Grand Cross to do the petrify memes as well.

My Arena team is going to be a pain in the ass with the nice balance it has going. Toblerone/CoD to physically murder things, Exdeath to nuke em and the combo of Refia and Cecil to keep them topped off and protected.

Though that means nothing to a team of 4 Exdeaths and a Cecil until the Toblerone gets the ability enhancement to Lightspeed to give her a chance to dodge magic as well.

Hit All is the only problem honestly. Cut Through gets cockblocked by Cecil often enough and really isn't that bad unless they all gang up on one character. Most Luneths are going to have some kind of elemental weapon too which allows CoD to soak up a shit ton of damage as well. The odds that you're actually going to get royally fucked are pretty damn low. I've faced a ton of whale teams like this and I can't remember when I last lost to anything but a crash.

There is, but screw that. If you quit the game mid-fight the queue will reset and you can avoid the Rune+Angel Song fuck you combo.

She'll still heal at specific tresholds, and most likely fuck someone up at 50% with meteor. I think at 30% she uses Endless, at which point you better have everyone defend, or put CoD's element buff up, or just wreck her before she has a chance to use it.
