laurence was a pain in the ass, but I finally got him. His last form was a pain, but it was basically a hit and run tactic.

I got all the trophys for old hunters as well. I just had to get all the weapons. killing those 2 big guys in that cave was a pain in the ass for that one weapon. probably one of the most difficult enemies to deal with.

orphan of kos was not as bad people were saying, but that might be because I was doing it on second playthrough and I did the chalice dungeons. I believe I was around 130-140 in level.

That's a real shame. In my opinion, the Beast Cutter's one of the coolest, most fun weapons to use in the entire game. It's got great crowd control in the tricked form and the untricked form swings deceptively fast.
My favourite thing about the Cutter though is the sound effects for the tricked attacks. My GOD they're amazing.

Stake Driver at +6 has 133 Base Damage... It's got .625 Arc Scaling at +10.. I did a test with Rakuyo and saw that it had a little better than .5 Skl scaling at +0, so if we assume that it starts with half of its potential scaling, and gets an equal proportion at each stop to +10... Robopunch's multiplier is 3.55, and Oil Urns... Ok I have no idea how Oil Urns work, but, Amelia has 55 Fire Def and 5300 HP.

But luckily you can get 16.5% Triangles in lower Hintertomb because the same enemies that drop radials in Pthumuru. But ATK vs beasts up is a secondary that can drop in Hintertomb, which would also help.

I was under the assumption that Charge ATK up gems stacked multiplicitivly with physical gems, obviously only being active on charge R2's.

So if you had three Lumpy gems you would have AR * 1.203 * 1.203 * 1.203. But if you have 3 26% Charge ATK gems (I have no idea what you could get at Lower Pthunuru) you would have AR * 1.26 * 1.26 * 1.26 but only on Charge Attacks. Or if you had two Lumpy gems and one Charge Attack you'd have AR * 1.203 * 1.203 * 1.26 on Charge Attacks.

There's a chart showing the exact formulas somewhere, but I don't have it. But then there is also damage reduction which is a simple % mitigation, which I think is the mechanic used to give bosses weak (and not-weak) spots. Like Amy's face or legs having hugely different damage even though she has uniform 130(ish) defense.

Amelia might have negative damage reduction on her head, like Cleric Beast, Amy or Eribritas.

Lumpy has the same loot pool as boss Watchers, he can drop damn near anything, it's just that anything other than Tempering is rare as fuck. But Charge ATK up is something I get semi-frequently from FRC Boss-Watchers.

I killed that ghost a few times while farming Clarence. Never got anything to drop. But that doesn't prove anything, out of all the Pick Axe guys I killed in dozens of dungeons only one dropped a gem. A cursed sharp gem with Health Regen secondary. Don't know what gems uncursed-dungeon Ghosts drop, but it's a bad drop rate.

Don't know if Arcane guy is here, but the earliest reliable Arcane radial is from Brainsucker mobs in lower Pthumuru root. Triangles from layer 1 boss of preset Lower Hintertomb.

You can get a Arcane Scaling radial from Depth 2 Phtu Layer 3 Phtumerian Descendant. But if the arcane attack from the brainsuckers are equivalent to the fire radials from lower phtu then it might be better to just use them. Besides the brainsuckers are particular weak to fire, so that works well.

That's what I spent the better part of a day doing.

Unless I've been really unlucky, the Red Aura +1 rating effect overrides the dropping cursed gems in non-cursed dungeon effect.

I found several lumpy clones in Root Dungeons, who dropped cursed gems, but never one with a red aura. Red Aura shotgun Watcher dropped physical uncursed gems as well, but Rating 13 which proves Red Aura does work.

Red-Aura Clarence's were too scary and I didn't find a chainbsckstabble one, so very little data there.

If anyone finds a glyph with a red-aura Madman with flaming weapons in large treasure room (like OG Clarence) I'd very interested. Likewise a red aura Watcher with a heated-club, but I'm beginning to think they don't exist.

There was a BB lore thread on /v/ yesterday with some interesting ideas.

I think it's pretty well established that there are multiple realities/planes of existence occurring at the same time but someone mentioned that each one was sustained by a host/dreamer and each one has a Great One controlling it for their own ends.

Gherman/MP in Hunter's Dream to kill other Great Ones. It's a workshop with places to upgrade weapons and strengthen the good hunter so he has a better chance of killing Mergo. Micolash/Mergo in Nightmare of Mensis to protect Mergo. It's a large fortress that literally starts shooting you the moment you arrive. There are guards everywhere, traps, pitfalls, and a maze to stop you.

Seemed interesting. Anyone else think this is plausible or am I way off here?

You get a summons from Iosefkas Clinic that tells you to take the carriage from hemwick crossing. If you've cleared Hemwick, then just go walk around and you should trigger a cutscene.

Miyazaki said From is currently working on 3 projects. 1 is a dark fantasy RPG, and what people have come to expect from them. Another is "something weird" and different to thier usual work and the third is a reboot of a old Fromsoftware ip. Presumable Armoured Core judging by the interview.

Hopefully the first one is another collaboration with Japan Studio and is a spiritual successor to Bloodborne that expands on its gameplay without actually being a sequel. Totally new setting and story.

Complete opposite for me. I once tried doing chalice dungeons while having a podcast on, but that lack of sound makes me fucking panic. I can't hear enemies approaching, and I feel a lot less aware of the surroundings.
