Not awful. They didn't get past the Watch Point bridge. Combo'd with the rando Zarya a few times for some 4-5 people wipes.

Led in kills for a little while before dropping to bronze elims and silver objective elims at the end.

The health pack hacking felt vital. I had the big one in the little house and the one under the bridge under constant lock down.

It's better in terms of gameplay and roster than TF2 which stopped balancing many years ago and never really cared about balance to begin with. TF2 has much, much better maps available though and is also free.

Overwatch has a free weekend going on right now though so you can try it out.

Titanfall 2 (T2) just came out and I hear it's pretty good.

Post-buff:

New 76 takes out Reinhardt shield in 15.6s vs. 18.3s. In comparison, Junkrat does 154 DPS including reload and takes out the shield in 13s.

I'm still appalled at meet your match, and by the fact that this year's halloween event was a rehash of a rehash with literally 0 new content (until they added in extra gargoyle ranks a week later). It's disappointing since the first halloween event is when I started playing and so it's always been a big part of tf2 for me, but in the past few years it's just been getting worse and worse.

It'll be a miracle if christmas this year is anything, since it was nothing last year. That update to make the pyro a class you can actually use should be coming...eventually too.

That's not true at all, you must be a new player or the game got even worse since I left. But they were doing that since release pretty much. The only "buff" Spy ever got that I can recall was letting him restore meter via ammo packs. Everything has been a straight up nerf after that forever and ever, or a buff they add for a week than remove because kids would whine.

That's what I thought, you weren't here for the time they fixed Pyro with the Backburner release. It gave him more life and let him crit from behind but removed air blast. He was potentially viable...only it was bugged and once it started critting you from behind it wouldn't stop.

So what do they do?

They remove the health and reduce its damage...straight from bugged to nerf without any real testing of it in its intended state. Valve should die IMO

Sym is a half flanker support. Go behind them and kill the supports when they try to push. Your damage is extreme. The longer you are hooked to a target, the more damage you do.

And people are not used to combat in melee range, so they freak out. Just go around and around. If you can kill at least one or two support before retreating, you are fine.

Also, place quick sentries everywhere in random often passed sports. In hiding spots. Near healthpacks.

You should try to have 6 sentries up at all time, if you dont have anything better to do. Your role is to annoy people. Your Alt fire can pierce shields and deal a ton of damage.

But Sym suffer depending on the enemy comp. I usually try to go after Genji, Mercy, Lucio, Zen, Roadhog, and enemies trying to run away or trying to push.

In order for a speed buff to really matter for him he needs it when he's going for backstabs, basically lunges or dashes. No good team in the world lets him get near anyone as it is.

It'd have to be something like the old Halo 2 sword lunge to be viable and attached to the lunge rather than the backstab for granting the kill. Have that in play for a while and see how he performs.

I remember for that brief window of time when they removed the recovery time from his backstabs, that was cool...but they took it away almost immediately. Bring that back too. If he's behind you killing you, it's your fault. You pay the price.

Yeah, placing 1 turret everywhere is better in a lot of case than just stacking them. It give you map awareness and give you information about a tracer running for the point and ect.

Silver damage done is pretty great. Try to give more shields when you can, the good thing to know is that they regen. So they give extra seconds of peace to a Widow or a Torb or Tracer.

Teleporter is potentially the best defensive ult in a lot of cases. Just look at the enemy team and choose a hidden place where the "runner" wont look. Volkaya first point top right is a bad spot because Tracers go through that a lot. But Top Middle left is pretty good if they dont have a Phara.

your turrets don't actually do damage unless its like 4+ then they become lethal. But I never really saw them that way, they build ult meter ridiculously fast. So I figured, the only reason Symmetra is even in the roster is because she can teleport the team. So I just started placing the turrets individually behind doors and hallways, so you build ult quickly.

The only time I place turrets in the same spot is when I know they are flanking and HAVE to come though a choke point. And backstabs were always consistent for me, you just had to understand that lag existed. The only time they were "inconsistent" is if someone turned in time to stop it or I COULD NEVER REACH THEM because the team was actually competent and had someone watch their back 100% of the time like they should have in a game with multiple flankers.

You mean the way...a thrown hook...would? It doesn't pass through walls. The animation might, but the actual projectile didn't and hooked you legitly. If you get hooked then it was a legit hook, you can complain about hitboxes all you want but at the end of the day it was legit and you people just need to learn how the engine works.

Hook shouldn't be stopped by stacks of hay and cars and other shit in the way like you seem to think, the only thing that should ever stop a hook is the Zarya bubble. He's nowhere near broken as is
