Yeah, Momo had a shitty attitude for most of the game but she really developed trust for her friends while the game went on. Things like that take time especially with someone like her, not everyone is like Rinka who instantly trust everyone.

Spoilered since I don't remember if these were actually any importance in the story, it's about Viola and Manpukumaru.

Viola also had pretty rotten attitude due to being a former weapon in wars, Manpukumaru just blocked everything and developed an perversion to food since that kept her going. Being a fucking weapon makes you all kinds of stuff.

So the alchemy system in Firis is pretty good, if perhaps a bit too complex.

Similar to Sophie, each item has size and element, which is called alchemic composition this time around. The alchemic composition works really differently this time around.

Basically each recipe has a charge gauge. Each item you put will increase this charge gauge by the item's alchemic composition, and when the charge gauge is full, the charge level rises and it will increase the effect gauge. The effect gauge with the same color as the alchemic composition of the item you put when the charge level rises will rise by 1 point, while all others will rise by 0.5 point. So for example the charge gauge is at 15/30, you put a 15 blue item, this will cause all blue effect gauge to rise by 1 point, while the others will rise by 0.5 point. Another point to note is that after you put an item of a certain color, the next item with the same color will have its alchemic composition increased by a certain percentage. It doesn't have to be put consecutively, so for example putting 15 blue > 15 red > 15 blue will still increase the second 15 blue. Item order matters a lot, just like previously, but the approach is pretty different.

More interestingly, some of the effects will change this alchemic composition, giving higher alchemic composition and possibly changing the color. It's also possible for an item to have multiple colors.

It's kinda difficult to explain, but it's pretty cool so far. I might make a webm later if I'm not lazy

This pretty much perfectly describes the bosses in Cyber Sleuth. I thought about playing through the game on Hard, but when the first major boss required fixed damage attacks to be won (which would have required excessive grinding), I just put the game back to normal difficulty. Couldn't be bothered with that shit even though the regular encounters were easily manageable on Hard.
