I reset my 4 year old town, and I don't remember how approval ratings work. Isabelle keeps suggesting I sell shit at Re-Tail, but my rating doesn't go up no matter what I sell (furniture, fish, fossils, etc). Any tips? I've got it to 68% after three days.

So two days ago I decided then was a great time to revisit Animal Crossing on GCN. I rigged a spare memory card via Wii homebrew to get all the NES games. One thing lead to another and I found myself losing sleep by furnishing all four homes (two from family members). I did the travel data bell duping glitch to pay off the remaining two houses.

There's nothing left for me to do and yet I feel like playing more. I wish the neighbors had more things to talk about. Were they usually brash?

By the way, the NES emulation is just as bad here as on Virtual Console even using the Wii's component cable.

We're talking the GCN version, right? I have a theory that the game only calculates the time passed when you load your town (setting the Resetti flag). It uses the GCN/Wii's clock to determine how long, but you can totally fuck with it by changing the game clock around to the last time you played it. It'll be like you never left...

I'd test it on a new file first to see if it's true.

I finally have some coupons saved and I'm planning to make my alt's house a store. Unfortunately I don't have access to legitimately acquired 7/11 items, meaning that I have to improvise.
Because of a few Puzzle League items, I decided to start making 1 room of the store gaming related, with 3DSs, Wii-Us, and a few other furniture. I already have the normal and black Wii-Us along with the Puzzle League 3DS related furniture.

Pretty sure there's a limit of 30 PWPs, so there may not be enough. Just use patterns, the update made it so villagers won't move onto patterns placed on the ground.
