Nah. Being a princess works better because it's more plausible that she's running around on dimensional adventures while her parents are running the kingdom itself. Maybe she has a brother who's the designated heir to the throne as well, leaving Blaze as the designated guardian of the emeralds and scepter.

I never really saw the appeal in Rosemary and Isabelle since both were lacking in terms of personality or looks. Bernie had a likeable personality and got shit done along with her husband. Given that ian is used to writing short tie in stories for the games and that the games themselves would literally only need you to write a framing device around whatever the concept of the game is I don't think it's be that out of his wheelhouse.

Don't forget it's not like he'd be designing all the characters and game and shit. Sega would just slap down a design document saying something like "Eggman is capturing aliens to power a space gun, here are the aliens. The stages are all based on a space theme park. Here are the locations and boss designs. go nuts. our team will check and revise everything you do and give you constant notes on why you need to write it for 12 year olds"

and given the tie in work ians done for games like all stars racing and shit i don't think he'd do too badly. Certainly better than baldy mcnosehair.

I like how they design the in-game characters so that they'd work as real life minifigure designs. Such Tails having the short leg pieces and a hip piece for his tails.

Please tell me they're planning some Lego Sonic sets, or at least would consider it after the Dimensions set makes bank off the autismbucks. I mean, usually I pour scorn on Lego tie-ins for just being an excuse for having a popular character as a minifigure (c.f. the Big Bazinga Theory set which is a real thing and which I've seen gathering dust at my local department store) but, darn it, I want Tails and his Tornado. At least Sonic has iconic vehicles and robots which gives him an excuse to have Lego sets.

It will be interesting to see how people will react to this game. I imagine some will gripe over how the characters are flanderised to an extent, on the other hand it does at least acknowledge a lot of characters and what they've done in the series. Not to mention that, despite being a light-hearted parody of Sonic games it does more fanservice than Generations did, the only real letdown is the music which is mostly remixed save for the Adventure themes, which don't have the lyrics.

It's overrated desu anon. It's better to actually talk to people in a low key environment, like work or school or whatever where you have an excuse to start a conversation. Walking up to someone you hit on in a public place is usually the worst place to initiate an encounter with a stranger. I've never managed to get on with someone in a situation like that.

I think it's safe to say from people's reactions that Lego Sonic is a success or will be a success. Given that it's a Lego game, it can afford to be a little more lenient with it's storytelling and dialog both because of the universe and not being fully produced/managed by Sega, but given the fact that this works so god damn well and we have players like Mememan and (supposedly) Senpai on board with Sonic now, will they get more of an influencing chance after Lego Sonic?
