A few gripes with BALDY MCNOSEHAIR ever being in a game again and Shadow's personality being still undecided over Vegeta/Brooding Edgehog, but everything else was spot on.

Quite frankly it was a better tribute to Sonic then Generations was. Have the levels from Gens and the writers from this and you woulda had the perfect game.

RCS is my favourite Sonic voice actor outside of Martin Burke and Drummond's Heroes but only in Boom. His normal Sonic voice sounds a bit odd. I love the guy but still.

Saitama's whole schtick is he's faster than the fastest thing, stronger than the strongest thing, the only thing he can be beaten on is intelligence but he's too powerful for anyone to stop him like that anyway.

One Punch Man is a look into the life of a man who is too strong for anything to be a problem and so his life has no satisfaction, he saves the day but it's just too damn easy, which is why he goes on these things and gets mixed up in organisations he doesn't understand cause it poses at least some entertainment in his life of going to get groceries and watching TV.

Which is why making these Death battles, power charts and "would One Punch Man beat Superman in a fight" contests are strange to me, of course he would beat everyone, that's the joke and the entire point of the show.

As for arcs, I despise a lot of what happened after 50 and the arc leading up to 50 wasn't that great either. I love 50 itself, but.
Whatever arc it is where Julian gets zapped and comes back just before Doomageddon is unleashed and saves Sonic, and lets him know over the radio just to shake Sonic's nerves up, I liked that one.

So, Sega reaps the profit from toys and merchandising, CN reaps the profit from people watching the show on their channel, and the animators/modellers/VA's get paid for making the show.

I take it it's a case of CN not liking the kind of show it is and trying to murder it so Sega can't make them make another series, but I can't see as to why.

Toys mean nothing to TV Execs. It's all about what kind of advertisement money can be gotten and how much of a rating it gets so they can prop it up to sell to advertisers.

Depends on the contract. They may have a deal where Sega has the full control of options. They might even had it in contract to renew a season 2 even if CN didn't want it but CN would still be obligated to air it.

Either way, it's going to be like this until Sega's contract with CN is done and by then Sega may feel it's not worth trying to negotiate with different distributors for a season 3 and just kill it.

I just always thought Regular Show was cooler, and when it tried to go down as a bit more serious topics like relationships and father issues with Rigby they handled it better within the context of the show rather than trying to be way too deep for a cartoon with flying candy sweets in. Ecco had a hard life.

It's great because even though Rigby's a lazy tool and you feel sorry for Mordecai Rigby is genuinely the more mature and selfless person in the entire show. I think it's one of the best shows CN has ever had on it's line-up really, they deal with relationships lot more grown up than all the pandering SU stuff tries to do.
AT I just couldn't get into at all though. It was probably alright as a thing but I heard it went downhill fast.

Sonic Boom is just fun all around though, I hope to god it remembers that or gets killed before it can turn.

I like TTG and think that it's a fun take on a series people love, although probably a bit too far. Also the butthurt the OG fans took off the episode taking the piss out of them for wanting super serious plotlines was worth everything.
Nothing beats Brave and the Bold though

It's a show not taking itself at all seriously and when called out on it, takes the piss out of them for expecting it to be so serious.

Batman did it with Brave and the Bold replacing the much more serious Batman cartoons of it's day. I mean, B+B is MUCH better written than TTG as well as funnier, but people were alright with that.

The amazing thing with these old ass comics is that because of how long they've gone on they can be interpreted in many ways, which is why we can have the Joker paralyse Gordon's daughter and have Shark repellent in the same universe.

TTG ain't that good but it sure as hell ain't as bad as people make it out to be.
