Counter options in Yugioh are way stronger than Force of Will.

Most card games borrow enough from Magic that it's fair to compare mechanics and deck types to Magic, but Yugioh's really different enough that you shouldn't think of it in the same context. There're a lot of "combos" but calling it "combo-centric" is kind of misleading because it's less that there're combo decks and more that those're just play routes decks take in addition to their actual strategy.

Dunno, I just played WoW for free until lvl 20 to get Liadren and I would say it's piss easy to get 100 gold. I was limited to 10 gold tops and I wasted around 40 gold until lvl 20. I imagine anyone running instances will find getting 100 gold to be a walk in a park.

Blessing of might isn't even one of its good buffs. Blessing of Kings and Divine Strength are where it's at. Blessing of might is just a bad dark iron or abusive.

Warlock does some things very efficiently (AoE, good aggressive minions), but he also needs some toned down effects compared to other classes (mage have better damage spells, paladin better buffs, etc.).

This card seems reasonable since for once there's no direct drawback like the other warlock buff cards.

C'thun control warrior is viable enough to win world championship. Not crazy good, but all right. Rogue is better at making huge c'thun's and meme it up with shadowcaster. Outside of that only druid and priest got class cards to even consider making their c'thun decks. It's good choice in terms of budget, since couple of WoG packs guarantee you c'thun and some buffers for him.

Standard is cards from last 2 years. First expansion every year makes the ones from 2 years earlier going into wild only.
Basically 1 expansion 2017 black mountain, grand tournament and explorers rotate out, karazhan, old gods, and gadzetan (new expansion coming in december) will rotate with first expansion of 2018.

C'thun decks are viable in rank 15-25. Once you get decently deep, all decks you run into will be one of the following:

well it seems that people looked at steamers first of course, and since most of them weren't shaman and the first to get 12 wins was using mage, I can only assume that they are using that list, or trying to play a shaman counter and/or mage counter.

Honestly its weird, the brawl meta is actually a lot more fun/creative than the ranked meta.

Maybe because of the entry fee most players put more thought in their deck regarding their expected matchup.

Yes doing a C'Thun druid is fairly cheap. Priest can also be an option since you have ok basic cards.

C'thun warlock can be fun but odd, so not really budget, unless you use it like a zoo (best minion you can play, have a smooth curve and buff Cthun in the process).

Warrior is one of the best but most expensive. Still, I made a new account for shit and giggles and am doing fine with warrior cthun with mostly basic cards (shieldmasta for example, bog creeper...) and its fine at ranks 20-15.

Also the obvious upside of being able to have duplicates and a total heal of 30, instead of just the difference between your health and 30.
