The final boss will be a Dark-equivalent to Soul of Cinder and have inside it all the protagonists that chose to become a Dark Lord instead of linking the fire. The boss will be a mix of Manus and Orphan of Kos gameplay-wise.

Its not so much the PvP itself i hate at that range because honestly ive enjoyed fighting at every level and area. Its the fact that atkeast 50% of the time i get summoned for actual gamplay, the host and everybody else is just fucking around, hacking, or ganking ect. Like wtf. Yesterday i got summoned through concord to post pontiff, the host had 3 invaders and two phantoms, all of us had constant warmth and our rolling was disabled, so was most of our other movements and any time we tried to roll we did some weird dance/half-assed "dab" shit. Two times before that i got summoned to people just sitting around gesturing.

Longest lance ("pike" in this case) is the Lothric Knight Long Spear, it actually has a longer reach on the R1 than both the Greatlance and Pike.

The R1 is actually shorter than the gargoyle FS's R1, and the running R1 is a garbage minicharge attack, but the thing that makes it good is the R2. The LKLS R2 is actually the longest reaching attack in the game, primarily because you take a big fuck-off step when you do it. When 2H'd it actually quite fast too, excellent for leo counterthrusts. The lack of a running R1 poke like spears really hurts it though.

Point is that the Washing Pole is an S tier weapon which means that in the hands of a competent player it is godlike. Unless you're using a similarly powerful weapon your chances of winning decrease drastically.

It's quite handy. If you're fighting some sorcerery nerd who thinks they can outrange you or if you've gotten someone down to the tiny last bit of health and they keep running away it's a handy spell to hit them with. It does less than 100 on hit but it bleeds most people for about 350 after two or three hits.

My other attunement slots are Deep Protection and either Blessed Weapon or Med Heal. Though, this conversation about rings has made me realise that Ring of the Sun's Firstborn is also pretty wasted because it won't be making my buffs any stronger and I believe that Dorhys' Gnawing does a set amount of bleed build up that isn't affected by any stats or rings.

Depends on the weapon(s) you want to use.

Unless you're going pyro I would advise only focusing on 1 attack stat. Except maybe some Faith for healing/support spells.

There aren't a lot of cheaters in the game, even at meta level SL120-140. You do run into them sometimes but they're all harmless, you just leave via BSC or getting insta-killed, not like you lose anything from losing an invasion. Then just block communication in steam and report them for hacking and move on to the next invasion.

It's really not that big of a deal. It'd only be problematic if you ran into it in the majority of invasions and/or they could actually get you softbanned through cheating, but they can't.

You can queue your R1 during the parry animation which extends the window for a backstab. It also makes a chain bs attempt safer because you can even cancel the queued R1 if they do some kind of chain bs escape (reverse backstep, barrel roll, standing still). For solo play regen miracles can be useful if cast at the start of a duel, especially in the arena since you play unembered there (you have embers instead of humanity, popping one gives you a 30% increase in max hp). Unless you're doing something like actively reading your opponent switching to a magic stoneplate ring and switching away from a magic weapon as you riposte, hardswaps aren't actually related to the combat between each person. I just started, and I think it depends a bit on you. If you want to make a super character, go for it. It's easier to level up and get souls to buy shit (Spells are expensive as fuck desu senpai). Like, I'm doing my NG+ with a physical build, and there really was no way I would get 50 strength for Havel's Greatshield while still having enough endurance to move much and enough vitality to be able to take hits, so this way I can finally use it. The only reason to use a new character entirely is to start up a whole new style build.

if you can see with direction they're circling for a backstab, you can unlock and turn your back away then R1 them on the side, where they aren't blocking. Super easy with CCS. Alternatively you can just wail on them, if they try shieldpoking they'll lose almost all of their stamina (though they won't be guardbroken since the shieldpoke prevents the guardbreak from happening, but they can't block without being broken and can't roll, so close enough).
