In all likelihood it will be unrelated to the first. However, she talked about needing a dark soul to paint her world, so let me put on my speculation hat and see what I can come up with. Hopefully From will follow through with all the Londor teasing and actually give us a Londor DLC, and Londor is just fucking hollow/dark central. If we get a dark soul from the second DLC, it is possible that we can take it and give it to the painter girl, and she will then use it to paint a new world. The 4kings are actually super easy unless you're talking about new game plus runs. And on new game plus runs, the bosses should be allowed to be broken.

The babby strat to beat the normal 4kings to have
1. A great greatshield with good enough stability to block their attacks without breaking your guard.
2. An upgraded weapon.

Now even someone who sucks at the game can beat them easily.
The most common reasons for why people fail at the 4kings are either because they try to be fancy and try to roll to evade their attacks while lacking the skill to do so properly.
Or, their weapon is too shit to deal enough damage to kill them before the next one spawns.

If your weapon is just reasonably upgraded however You're almost bound to be able to deal enough damage to kill them off one by one.
And if you use a good enough shield you can just rely on it, and don't need to be good at dodging.

So you can literally just
Block, attack, attack, attack. Block. Attack, attack, attack. Again, and again, and again until they're all dead.
The movement and patterns of the 4kings are super simple. They always stay ahead of you. They don't try to dodge. They always do the same attacks in the same intervals. In that way they're one-trick pony as fuck.
They have really strong attacks and huge area of effects, but for as long as your shield can block them that's all a non-issue. And unless you're on a new game plus run, they don't have enough HP for you not to have ample time to kill off all of them one by one and avoid having to fight them at the same time. Provided you haven't neglected your weapon.

On new game plus runs they're truly dreadful to deal with. But on a regular run they're one of the easiest fights in the entire game.
Just drop your prestige, stop trying to dodge them, and pick up a good shield and block instead.

Had absolutely no problems steamrolling the game with a Str/Quality/Int build but currently struggling with a Dex Faith Build.

Any ideas on how to increase my damage output? Currently using Carthus Curved Sword +7 with a Saint's Talisman. Struggling in particular with Aldrich. Can't seem to do much damage to him before he obliterates me with the arrow move.

End - 12
Dex - 25

Bloodborne has the best enemy by FAR.

Compare the rats in DaS3 to the ones in BB. Look at the differences between their movesets.

Or the BB slimes versus the ones in DaS3.

DaS3 has some cool enemies, but not as many as Bloodborne.

Lothric castle, untended graves, and king's garden literally have no unique enemies. Each area in Bloodborne introduces at least one new enemy.

Also, DaS3 rehashes A LOT of enemies from the previous games which throws off the feel of the game.

Does poise do anything whatsoever for the regular mace? I am not feeling it.

I think ariandels charges are a bit weak. I thought you would get staggerd if you're too close to him while hes charging. Also wish his bowl attacks had the same lava spill effect as the gargoyles who use the flame hammer. I remember think he would be this guy on steroids but he was much less of a threat.
