If the ME2 suicide mission combat scores and order of survival when Holding the Line are any indication (assuming all are loyal):

Grunt > Zaeed > Garrus > Thane > Legion > Samara > Jacob > Miranda > Jack > Tali > Kasumi > Mordin

All of the above when fighting Collectors at least, which are primarily organic/biotic enemies. The techies like Garrus and Legion would probably do better compared to the others fighting synthetics or tech-based organics like mercenaries/Cerberus. Or each other. A conversation in ME3 implies Tali is more effective than Garrus against geth while Garrus is more effective against Husks for example.

I think Wrex is the best fighter on the list by far, in any case. 1,500 years of experience and training + powerful biotics + heaviest armor/shields and guns + can bench press a car + regeneration. No one can really compete. He has all the strengths of Grunt and Zaeed combined, plus more experience and biotics.

No offense but how the hell did you get that impression? There was no combat for one, and it's obvious the game is going to have a heavy focus on exploration, it even has platforming (for better or worse). ME2 and 3 were gears with the mass effect label slapped on if anything.

Exploration is definitely something that is being pushed in this game compared to 2 and 3. There will be a lot of open environments where you can drive the new mako and the fact that the story has to do with these "vaults" (whatever they are) clearly means you'll be exploring numerous planets in different systems.

Not to mention the set up of Arks going to a new galaxy to find a new home purely on a conceptual level is about exploration.

It also makes sense if you take into account the pattern they did with the most recent Dragon Age game making it more open, it stands to reason they'd try to do the same thing with Andromeda.

The lack of companions to me is just Bioware holding their cards close to their chest, I think they had a really negative reaction the marketing campaign for the characters in Inquisition and are trying to do the opposite for this game by building hype through snippets. They should have released a more impressive trailer though, the one we have is very generic and Hollywood to the point where it feels factory assembled.

The teaser trailer they did with the rocket launch was great. Everything else has been bad to watch. The gameplay video was also extremely underwhelming since it was just a fucking guy walking around and then running away from some unspecified force. What has me particularly worried about that video is that it was just one player on the screen, but when the cutscene came up there was suddenly four people.

I know that companions are a thing, they said so, but that shit worries me. I say this because I am concerned that companions may only be around part and parcel, being put into stasis when non-combat areas are being explored and only coming out when combat can/will occur.
