My Satsuma has been getting slower, and last time I went shopping I couldn't even get 100km/h on the highway. And this morning, it barely moves before shutting down.

The engine feels powerful, but when I switch to first gear the car drags painfully slow for about a meter before shutting down. Also, does this rear suspension seem lower than usual? All the parts and bolts are fine there, so what would you suggest?

I also would recommend getting gud. In 9 out of 10 cases shit falls off if you drive recklessly hitting your car on the bumps. And I never had problems with leaking fluids. You probably just missed some nuts and bolts or even parts.
Regarding exhaust, it is holden by two bolts under the body and two bolts to the exhaust manifold.

Why does saving and reloading undo my carb adjustments? I just put in the racing carb and got the mixture to 16 but when I went out for a test drive it went back to like 12.5 and keeps stalling at the intersection out of home. Like, permanently, I can't even get it to idle.

Okay, my poop truck is unrecoverable which means my source of income is practically dead which sucks as I just passed inspection.

My question is if there is a way to reset the truck position or cheat some modest money in.

I edited some random string in a hex editor and all vehicles except for the satsuma went to their default spawn locations, along with my game being changed to permadeath and the colors of my car went haywire.

Originally I was trying to cheat money because I lost 10k to a glitch but I couldn't figure out how the number you edited related to ingame money, something with it being a 32 bit float and I didn't know how to convert it.

Poop truck can be VERY efficient on gas if you stay out of the redline.

Normally, if you pin it at redline to down and do some poop runs it uses around 1/4 of a tank.

If you stay out of the redline and take your time it can take as little as 1/8 of a tank or less.

I found the last loose gearbox bolt and I tuned down to 15.5.

It still stalls unless I kick up the RPM in neutral and push it to 1st. Even then I don't know how long that'll last me since I was too afraid of breaking down along the path and not being able to get it home.

Either way it doesn't seem super conducive to travel or racing. Is there some fix or is this just how this car acts?

I have a suggestion for the part finder. Can you make it tell which wells are full?

Just reading through the comments to the recent patch notes got me thinking. Do we deserve the gaming industry we have? I bet we are. People want to be spoon fed. Figuring things out is too much for them. They don't even want to understand the concept of the game. They just ignore the fact that this whole setting is probably the memories of gave dev of when he was young guy helping father out sucking shit and chopping wood and building his shitbox car.
However the overwhelmingly good score gives me hope that even though a lot of dumb people ask stupid questions maybe, subconsciously they really want this kind of game that laughs in their face and fucks things up constantly. Because it is fun... even if it is not.

Use the choke till the engine is hot. So when you first get in the car, pull the choke out, start it, start driving. once the car starts to warm up slowly push the choke in. By the time you get to the dirt road intersection the engine should be hot enough to have the choke pushed all the way in.

It's stalling because you air/fuel ratio too high and it's also should backfire like crazy with 16. If stalling really bothers you, make it 14, otherwise just set it to 14.7. And again. Make sure that your engine at running temperature. It's halfway mark on temperature gauge. If you have air/fuel ratio too high or too low, it's going to overheat the engine and fuck up the numbers and you are going to be confused again.
