I just did the engine tuning at the shop (not the adjustment). It doesn't seem like it did anything? My valves are all the same. My carbs are the same. My ShopTuning flag is still false. I read that it was supposed to increase your overall hp?

First warm up your engine. As in drive around a bit. I usually do doughnuts by the lake or go to the air strip. When your car is good and warm is it back firing? If so keep leaning it down to it stops. Your carb is now tuned.

(I like to run my mixture rich, keeps the engine cool uses more petrol though)

what about the air to fuel mixture gauge?

Just get air/fuel gauge. Unscrew that shit on the carb by scrolling down mouse wheel 20 times. Now warm the engine, watch temperature gauge till it hits halfway mark. That's running temperature and you always tune shit at this temperature. You can pull out the choke and hold your rpm at 3-5k, thats much faster and don't need to drive around like an idiot. Just don't forget to push the choke back when you done.
Now watch at air/fuel gauge closely. There is a green mark that says optimal. Thats where you need to aim. Scroll mouse wheel down to lower numbers and pretty obvious that scrolling up makes it higher. As you can see the green mark goes from 14 to 16. Basically lower numbers of this range makes your car accelerate faster at low rpm and stall less. Higher numbers accelerate faster at high rpm, but stall often or you can just say fuck it and make it 14.7 which is considered ideal for gasoline engine and it's some kinda middle way.
If you don't have air/fuel gauge at the start, you can just do the same shit, but watch for the exhaust smoke. If you did exactly what i said, you will have dark smoke coming out from exhaust pipe. You can press the thingy on your carb to rev up the engine, so you could see what smoke coming out. Just scroll up until smoke stop being dark. That means you hit 14 air/fuel ratio, which is okay for a stock car and just don't bother.

I don't think this is possible in the curent state the game is in. Even Spintires were not able to add tire pressure mechanic and in offroading this is one of the most important things.Well okay let's not talk about spintires, game's development is the story of one big fraud. But i still think this is too much for MSC.
If i get it right the game calculates coordinates and condition of every part car consists from and i think this is the reason it drops framerate on the high speeds. Adding calculation of tire pressure - condition will drop framerate even further.

So even with 3.700 gears I don't notice any increase in power. I'm running 15.7 hot idle with the race carbs. My valves were tuned by Fleetari too. It looks like he does a slightly better job than you possibly can based on the values in the save file.

I thought so too, but it did the same thing and failed if I tried to start it clutch in in gear. Tried to start and die. Like the slave cylinder was leaking or something. Now it starts every time, clutch in gear or clutch out neutral.

Russian dev who made the game got money frauded by the uk publishe. Situation came to the point where dev refused to work on game untill they pay him and they refuse to pay unless he works on game. Publisher is very slimey, they imply they got contract with dev and he is not fulfilling his part. Guess next bet would be bolt checker which should be really simple, but I don't have a link for that. Go scrounge the archives. As far as using the save editor goes I never used it, but if you save then use it, it allows you to change a lot of shit and bolt settings and etc.

Just do it like this. Put it slowly and accurate underneath the car just right in the middle. Jack it up and assemble whole suspension at the front and put on wheels. Remove the jack and do the same for the rear. Did that at least 3 times and 0 dents. Just don't TOUCH the car. Lean through it if you need, most of the dents appears from bumping into it and from collisions with other parts, not from jacking.

Okay, i did some research and now i know that those numbers on valves in save file goes from 1 tight to 12 loose. 8 is ideal position, because you need to have loose as possible valves without ticking and this is exact number. Every click is 0.6, but turns out that you need to fully assemble the engine before do that, i think even assemble the whole car, fill up with fluids and shit like that. Because just doing it on disassembled rocker shaft every turn would be 0.2, which is fucking weird and i don't no why. So basically whole range is 18 clicks. This is same shit like the wheel adjustment. Even if bolt keep turning, wheel is going to stop moving at the end of the range. Same shit with idle screw on carb and valves. This can be really confusing.

So here's the ultimate guide for adjusting valves. Fully assemble your car and make sure it's ready to hit the road. Now scroll mouse down on every valve 18 times to ensure that they will be at the same max possible position. Visual appearance of screws doesn't matter, this shit even reset after reload, don't mind it, just count turns. Then scroll up each valve 7 times. This is important, don't be afraid to scroll down as much as you want, scrolling down more than 18 times basically reset them, but pay attention when you scroll up and count exact 7 times. If you manage to fuck something up, just "reset" valve by scrolling mouse down 18 times and try again. Now, this game is stupid sometimes. You can do everything right, but your car is going to act retarded, backfires and rev up really slow. Just say "fuck you stupid game, i know your shit" and just save and reload. Everything would be perfect. You can use save editor to make sure everything is okay. Just type "rocker" in filter to find this shit. Pic related is closest you can get by tuning it manually.

When you drop the car and fill the papers, you can just wait till 6 am and he will call you. Doesn't matter how much shit you order ether. You can even drop it at night just so you have time to get home before 6 am to get call. I think it's even working without taking a call. One time i was just waiting and he didn't call me after 6 am so i decided to take a ride to the store. When i returned to check on the car, it was ready. So as i understand call doesn't mean shit ether, in exactly 6 am car is ready for pick up.
As you can see saving during that 100% fucking up repair timer. Dunno about sleeping. I think any manipulations with time in this game are broken. So it's better to take a nap before dropping the car, even if your fatigue is low.
Don't worry about closed repair shop, you can lean through the left wall and click on the paper. When this shit is going to be fixed, that would be really sad day. It's only closed for real during rally event on Saturday from 10 to 18 because mechanic is hosting that event.
