you just kill the Zarya

As a rule of thumb a taking out a tank or a support is more valuable than a DPS kill. They're almost always slower back from spawn and they almost always have more ability to contest the objective. Zarya is 50/50 tank/support. The longer you leave her alive the more shield shutdowns she's going to provide, the more she's going to get out of her shield regeneration and there reaches a certain point where leaving her 190 dps deathstar laser DPS going is just impossible to survive against.
Then she gets the time to build ult charge and it's almost impossible for a good Zarya to not convert her ultimate into some kind of near team kill.

On the flip side Zarya herself is not as tanky as any other tank and you only have to go through her own self bubble once when you focus her (and you don't pause for it, you just dps through it), and when she goes down she has maximum return-from-spawn time and comes back at 0 energy.

In summary, just kill the Zarya. Priority number 1 kill.

It's not really that hard. There were in very low rank guys running around with gold like halfway through the S1 because they simply played comp all day and grinded the 300 wins. If you are good and get the boost from the points at the end as well then why not. I'm pretty sure there were people with or wery close to 3 gold guns at the end of S1.
Personaly i'm gonna probably save my points and purchase something only when i hit the cap, so in case they add something else for comp points i can get it right away.
