There's ton of people on the forums who say they love her now because she can stay in the air the whole game even though that's where she's an easy target.

Blizzard listens to these people who probably only played her for 5 hours and thought she was bufffed because they can't get direct hits and the slightly buffed splash is a good crutch.

The only thing these changes are going to do is make her better in the ranks where people can't look up or aim and make her even worse in the higher ranks which is where she was unplayable because there's always a good McMeme.

If you're trying to get good with her, for the love of god, shield reactively and not proactively. It's better to shield when someone absolutely needs it than when they don't, and then a teammate dies later. As for Zarya herself, she has 200 shield, so you can take a bit of damage before shielding.

She's not too hard to play once you get that down, and it should be obvious.. but everyone in QP thinks otherwise.

I forgot to mention that you can use a teammate to body block damage with particle barrier. Consciously body blocking damage is the easiest way to gain charge. Running in front of teammates while their being fired at, giving a barrier to large target like Roadhog or Winston then running behind them.

Obviously, having teammates that are aware of this is better than trying to nudge randoms into doing what you want.

I see two uses for Sombra

1) Quirky no-healer Sombra comps where the team relies on the hacked medkits, since they respawn super fast. You can now run 3 DPS 3 tank, ideally characters that also have a self-heal like mei, s76, roadhog etc.

2) Speedboosted teamfight initiations

However she ends up being used, Sombra is definitely going to be in tournaments. Her ultimate and mobility are ridiculous. She has a support character's ultimate, essentially.

Current Sombra will work and will be played because of her ult.
She won't be used in any fancy way, she'll just tag along behind her Winston spraying people 100% of the time. Invis for just getting around faster and translocator for immediate escape if focus.

Then she ults and put a 6 second ability silence on the enemy and Zarya cut to half health OR Lucio counterults something like Genji's weebstick and Sombra ults. Health pack salting is a nice side impact.

That's all Sombra needs to be played. Otherwise, she's meh and nothing with the potential of Tracer/Genji in diving and raw kill potential.
