The lists were vastly different each regional, with subtle changes spread out in the weeks between. I'd always breeze right on through Metalfoes, Blue-Eyes, and ABC, but I'd struggle with the more out-there matchups, like Fairies, Kozmo, and Majespecter. INOV then brought another high-tier hard counter in the form of Frogeozoics. Mained Cherries didn't do shit when they just shat all over my brick hands with Karma Cuts, BoMs, and MSTS backed by free dudes I couldn't even Farfa away.

I've already dropped the deck, it's just not good enough right now. I was a subpar BA pilot when I picked it up, sure, but by the time I really grasped the deck, it'd been crept out.

Twin Twister isn't that bad in Metalfoes, it's not that bad in any Pendulum deck.

Is he really that good? I've never had any success with him at all, honestly. If I need to pop him, he ends up being a waste in the extra deck and the search only happens at the end phase so it's too slow. As a scale he's okay but you already have searchable Steelens and Volflames.

bismagia can add another copy of itself, you can special summon it back with mythriel and the end phase search fuels fullmetal fusion on your opp's turn to make alkahest and stop their plays.

discarding your pendulums is very bad, almost no list ever run it and if they did run, they did so after a full set of msts, cosmic cyclone is a lot better than twin twisters as a side, but you want msts in the main to combo with combination, as you'd do with eccentrick and so you don't autolose game one to asf.

You might be right though, but eh. The issue with running MST in the main is that you have to run multiple and it ends up fucking your first turn if you go first. Not only that, but the majority of the time when people set stuff, it's more than 1 card and will all be cards you need an answer to. For that reason, I feel that 1 Twin Twister is fine as it isn't consistent enough to be opened every single game you go first, but also answers multiple cards if you need it to. If you look at the OCG, they have HFD so they don't need to care for Twin Twister because it is a better Twin Twister for them, although that probably changed with ASF mained in ABCs so they probably main MST or something now. Regardless, I feel like you need ASF answers in this format and that's either MST or Twin Twister, and opening multiple MST on your first turn is fucking cancer when they just TT your set MSTs and then play Union Hanger.

As for Bismagia, idk it still seems like a shit card to me. Maybe it's just because I haven't seen how good it is before in play. It still seems like a very slow card that you can't summon normally after you pop it, which matters in making good turn 1 plays.
