It's not the ammo sustain, there is plenty of that.

It's just that in a high-damage environment, you need to be able to clear cops quickly before they have time to shoot you.

And shit like the lower headshot multipliers and Medics inspiring fat cops from behind walls just makes it that much more harder to use them effectively instead of just shotgunning the room and running off.

Crossbows can't clear rooms like shotguns but people use crossbows because they can still one-shot the one cop who might have ran into their hidey-hole and shoot them while an AR would take more than one second of shooting into the head to do the same.

If you look at how the skins are made in the skin workshop, it actually makes sense.

Every weapon part has a:
- Base material texture
- Base pattern
- Sticker pattern

So technically, you could swap out a mod and see that it still gets the base materials and patterns that the skin applies to parts in general *BUT* you won't see shit like the sticker and customised paterns because you have to program each available mod for that shit or else the other parts will be generic-golden-mod-part-#999. You will notice this problem on any stupid skin that OVK had put out for Rare / Epic / and I guess Legendary since you're using mods to swap skin mods.

For example, Sad Almir skin, there's an Almir face sticker on the default skin mag. If you swap out the mag for something else, the Almir face sticker is gone because none of the other mags have been programmed with the sticker properly.
The Boom! skins for the Deagle exhibits the same problem with the barrel mods when you swap out the default barrel extenion with any other barrel extension. The BOOM! graphic looks like it's clipping or something because it doesn't show up on anything else.

And that's just the start of how stupid all the skins are.

By comparison, some community skins like the Shooting Star, are programmed for every existing mod so that it doesn't look like shit when you mod the Bronco.

You know how BL2's gun mod system is completely crap and they all look the fucking same because of the fact that gun models between manufacturers are always the same and always the same looking parts? Gearbox supposedly actually put in a lot of effort to make sure that every weapon skin, every weapon variant, and every weapon mod change actually looks seamlessly together so that the guns at least looked consistent. Fucking Gearbox gives a shit more than OVK staff does.

Hi, I'm SolarPleTeX, and I'm addicted to achievements.

I've been using the site for a couple years but never got around to joining until I heard about the achievement trading threads. I'm not that hardcore of a gamer, and I don't play many games but when I do, I can't stop until perfect every aspect of it. Now, I've reached the point of my gaming career where my games have online-only achievements and all my friends play Steam games on the PC so they're no help.

I was able to live with it when Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST came out (lol vidmaster challenges) because I'm not that great of a FPS player (despite playing lots of FPS games) but now, I feel that my achievements list needs more zeroes in it. So, I'm poking my head in here to see if I could get a couple boosting parties going for a couple "old" games and then work through my backlog and then help other people out too =) (because I hate being a leech).

The only reason the Demon has shit pickup is because it uses the free community version of the 000 buckshot, which never got updated like the shotgun pack version and still has nerfed pickup on the Loco and Street Sweeper.
