There are 3 groups of guard patrols: Train proper, lumber yard, ravine.

There are 5 guards around the train. You have to kill them off if you want the easiest time stealthing it. Also note that there are 4 power boxes you have to hack total and they are distributed evenly around the train so unless you get rid of the train patrol until basically there's only one dude left, you aren't going to get any hacking done without getting caught within 15 seconds of extra train guards spotting you.

I do some initial scouting like which bars have which drinks and then plant myself on the second floor and play slots all day until they fuck up while Sixth Sense keeps highlighting NPCs so they think I'm helping.

I have only ever won at slots in loud though. Dunno if that says anything about playing slots in stealth.

The power boxes near the tunnel are the only problem if you kill all the guards at the sawmill. You can get a pretty good understanding of the train guards if you sit in the last train car with sixth sense and increasing the volume so you can hear the footsteps clearly. Once you get a hang of this you can easily hack the last 2 boxes and use the bag zipline freely.

I dunno, dodging the sawmill guards with guards isn't that difficult for me. Those train guards are a fucking pain in the ass though, especially when you either fail the keycard lottery in opening the doors so you need to drill, or you're carrying a saw.

I haven't had any issue with the hacking while leaving the train guards alive. The sawmill/warehouse/truck dropoff guards fuck me every single time, while I can (mostly) see the train guards coming, through a combination of no music and loud sound effects to hear footsteps, and the mark-while-standing-still skill.

I'll try killing off the train patrol again when I get back to it. I just need to figure out how to move the bags around the sawmill patrol.

The reason I say Mayhem is because it has like double or triple the spawn rate of any other difficulty for some reason.

Used to be that if you wanted the most spawns, you'd go DW and mow down greys, but Mayhem spawns more cops than DW ever has. That's why if you want to killfarm, Mayhem is the way to go right now.

The mod I used made the game crash way too often. Skipping the results screen was one of the few reasons I used Hoxhud when it first came out, but Overkill explicitly asked them to remove that and something else right off the bat.

I'm assuming there's some fuckery going on with making the screen terminate too early that's been in the game for at least two years. It'd be nice if they'd figure that out.

Probably restarting Pro Jobs, or skipping the card drops screen because they were rolled on escape back then (instead of when you hit the card screen now).

OVK management really fucking loves their fake RNG gambling screens. Goldfarb complained about how management waited until all the devs who were against it (including himself) went on vacation before shoe-horning it in themselves. Then when they came back he said it was "too late" to remove it for unexplained reasons so it stayed.

Lucky you in regards to the result screen snippet. The last mod I tried to run was a small Press To Hold interact snippet, and even that alone seemed to have been causing crashes. I've just accepted my fate as one who can never run mods again, so I cling very dearly to the hope that Overkill will make these small changes.

as far as strats go, in day 1 try to get as many gotes before the first assault starts to the apartments, afterwards camp apartments for assault to go into fade, get/move gotes until assault starts and rinse and repeat. team coordination is pretty necessary. day 2 isnt different, wait for fade, theb get one/two guy(s) to start moving the cage while the others move the gotes, camp cage until the pilot grabs it. everything after that is pretty self-explanatory
