I miss the switchblade, I know it was a bit wank and it crumpled if any vehicle looked at it funny but I fucking loved that stupid piece of shit hoverbike.

I'd zip around a base, glitch my way up a tree, deploy and shit laser death into the courtyard.

Has the game changed any on PS4? I had been playing it about 6 months ago and gotten up to rank 40 something when I quit. I deleted it but I've been missing it lately and will have to do the big ass download again. I had a lot of fun as a heavy assault and got quite good with the dumbfire launcher you start with. It always felt amazing to take down a mosquito with that thing.

PS4 gets the shaft unfortunately. Any changes they want to make to it have to go through a lengthy admittance process with Sony, and since PS4 has babby shit hardware compared to PC, (which also runs like wank) they can't implement construction yet until they figure out how to do it without causing the ps4 to explode.

That said, I've heard that the ps4 still has quite a few players, and also ps4 will be getting the first iteration of the implant revamp before PC does, which I'm a little jealous of.

Computer runs the game just fine on moderate settings until fights hit 94+ and then the framerate starts to drop.

I've played this game off-and-on in bursts ever since beta 2 but despite that i've never really played sniper for long, maybe an hour, hour and a half TOTAL time as inf and much of that with a scout rifle, not a sniper.

I recently came into some money due to a nice win on a scratch-card and with all bills up to date decided to treat myself and bought the 4th anniversary pack, the camo and decals are awful but I've been experimenting with the Longshot AE, put a straight-pull bolt and 7x scope on it.

I have to say, this is oddly satisfying, I can see what would draw people to shit on players at terminals; it is extremely low risk for moderate reward.

My question however is this; Do these AE sniper rifles have some sort of fucking magical bonus to headshots? Having very little sniper experience I am getting an alarming amount of them even at extreme ranges on moving targets.

honestly it depends on the range. You can go as high as 8-12 while ADAD'ing if they're only 15-20m away. Although you dramatically increase the RNG feeling of the gun if you do that.

You also don't need to pause very long for a burst. You shouldn't be able to count time between them without using a stopwatch or re-watching in slow motion. IIRC it takes 120ms for the bloom to reset after you stop firing.

Long reload times on weapons with short reload animations is fucking retarded in the extreme.

If you don't know why then consider this;

It just plays the animation slower in order to fit the reload timer.

You just slo-mo remove the empty mag and slo-mo insert a new one. Even better it slows your walk/run animation too which generally makes it look like you're sliding along the floor from your perspective.

I don't know about Orion, and I haven't used the Carv a lot, but from what I can tell, a good burst on a carv seems to be about however long it takes for the guy to die.

The only exception to this was when I was pegging people at like 70-100m, then I'd burst fire idk something like 10-15 rounds?

I actually came across a group of NC the other day who were all ~0.2 - 0.5 kdr. They'd deployed a sunderer on a hill and I started hunting them as an infil.

It all runs off crystals so you need to get your ass back out there and suck more up to fuel it.
