I did that. He has like 5400 health. Each of my demons do around 1100 per hit with Concentrate + Smile Charge. That's 3300 for three demons. The problem is I can't output the remaining 2100 before the turn ends and he heals.

Stick to Makakaja for buffs, Concentrate first, then Smile Charge the turn right before you attack so you can use the crits for more press turns and the smirks don't wear off before you can use them. I forgot who made the decoy attack, probably me but it should be someone who isn't wasting a concentrate or smile charge. Remember you can do physical attacks, buffs, etc. without wasting Concentrate, but ANY kind of attack will spend your smirk and those can also wear off after a couple turns so save them for last.

You would switch the last two with spirit focus and archangel's law

Concentrate and Antichthon are givens, one attack of each element type to exploit weaknesses is useful, I'd opt for single target since even with DLC Flynn can't get pierce effects on himself, though I think only Deadly Wind and Trisaigon had Severe single target damage in that game. Fill the rest with Salvation and supportive shit like Luster Candy and Energy Drain.

Cold World and Charming Bolt can be useful if you're subbing Luck, otherwise stick to Thunder Reign and Glacial Blast, since you have to buyback or Demon Fusion Lite to get the first two skills onto other demons and it's not worth the trouble if you're not gonna have a decent success rate for the secondary effects.

The 1-10 hit spells from DLC demons have a higher damage potential, but variance in damage is even worse than the 1-4 hit spells so it's up to you if you want to take that risk.

Just finished Nocturne for the first time. TDE route. I'm genuinely surprised how tame Lucy was. I did it at Level 82 with a Dante, Trumpeter, and Daijobu just to try it out and expected to grind afterwards. Other than one close call with Root of Evil and some crits he wasn't that bad.

In SMT Devil Survivor do you normally refresh the auction several times until you get what you want, or do you open it only once per battle and make do with whatever is available?

I did the former and the games were quite easy. I wonder if the games were balanced with the developers assuming your auction selection would be highly limited. Or maybe it would just be frustrating bullshit if you only get shitty ripoff demons from the auction and would be less strategic in the end due to limited selection.

In a game like nocturne where skills are gone forever when they get thrown out? It would be fucking awful there, the game's got issues enough with asking players to make build decisions with low information as is.

But in a game like DDS where you can switch that shit out literally in 15 seconds, and it's an optional thing you have to seek out, it's just a more organic way of setting the rules of the puzzle.

Chaos' good shit shows up in NG+, so you want to do Law or Neutral on your first run. The only Law exclusive content worth doing is the Mastema related quest, Neutral route will want to make you stop playing the game so you should save it for last(or do it first if it's' the only route you have patience for).

There's no specific IV canon, you're essentially interrupting Flynn's progress on the neutral path in Apocalypse and replacing it with your own.

I use 3DS XL and it's alright.

The N3DS has way better 3D functions which is still a worthless gimmick and with its extra performance power it can run games like Xenoblade Chronicles and Hyrule Warriors. Outside of that there's no major difference between the OG 3DS, but if getting one doesn't hurt your wallet, then go ahead.

Drain and Repel are usually about equal in utility, though in games with an actual defense stat, repel/drain do damage/healing proportional to the element reflected, so repel can pull some amusing shenanigans in games where you can carry over skills. But playing normally whichever one you can get is usually fine since most games don't have elemental pierces, IV only has them for DLC and Apocalypse makes pierces ignore repel unlike most games in the series.

It's on 4th Kalpha, the warp isn't particularly hard to find since it's mandatory to access a good bunch of the dungeon (including the 4th Kalpa's boss).

Devil Survivor is an SRPG, it's going to take a while to get through regardless of what you do, and the endings give you points towards carrying over stuff so it's incentivized to do them all.

Soul Hackers is a pretty short game with only one important thing to do in New Game+, but its postgame stuff can be tricky even if you know what you're doing. If you're not doing that, the game is easy enough that you shouldn't really be stuck at any point unless you're draining all your MAG by leaving a bunch of demons out all the time.

Also that. It's possible you don't even NEED to create a whole new universe just to fix the problems with this one, but the BONDS route is so bad you might as well. IDing YHVH is probably enough to put his power in check as it is, but they really go overboard with the whole power of friendship thing, and the stuff they say during the final battle in both routes is almost identical so it's not even worth it unless you want to make use of the Assist Gauge system.

Persona 3 FES money farming.
How to go about it when I'm on the 1/31 just before Nyx? I just want to have fun fusing Not-Demons, but they're so expensive.

All the Google searches just say either farm items/weapons/gold shadows and sell them, or that the compendium is so "cheap" in P3 that you don't even have to farm any at all.

Neither of which helps considering there doesn't seem to be a place to sell the items I get anymore and the compendium has them priced in the 800,000 - 1,500,000 range. The highest I've gotten from Tartarus is at best 100,000 and that's only if I'm lucky.

In your situation, you might just want to hop on over to NG+. I don't remember if Monad is available before that but getting NotMacca is much faster there with a demon that boosts NotMacca rewards from shuffle time
