To be honest I can't really read anything that's not really moving. Autism, ADD, fucked if I know but it's an issue I've always had so following the story of Overwatch is difficult for me. Do we know if there are any more other than the one/s in First Strike? Just because they say "soon" doesn't mean it'll be exclusive to the very next thing coming out. Cases can be made for characters involved in the Lucio/Symmetra and Zarya/Sombra subplots, and it looks like Blizzard's headed at least in the direction of focusing on the latter in the near future.

Oh shit my bad, I rescind my snide comments. That being said, A LOT of characters have increased mobility that lets them blow through the first point if they coordinate. Genji, Tracer, Winston, Pharah, Mercy (if she follows one of the others), Lucio (if he wall rides), Widowmaker, D.Va, etc.

The reason why the choke is so effective is because everybody tries to go through there as a whole team and get cock blocked by Meis, Reins, Bastions, Junkrats, etc. that were made to turn a chokepoint into a killing field. Instead it's way better to have half the team run static at the choke and having the other half circumvent it to start capping. Once the enemy teams sees 2 or 3 people capping it without them even seeing them go by, they almost always panic and fall apart, letting you pincer them.

Eichenwalde difficulty has nothing to do with the first choke. The attacker spawn advantage is so large that defenders almost always crumble. Even if they don't get early picks they get ult charge and just wipe up enough with ults that they can bully through with respawns.

Eichenwalde attacker difficulty is almost entirely centered around the progress to the second checkpoint. Defenders remain equal in spawn or have advantage as soon as the first gate opens, and their spawn automatically hands them high ground advantage.
