Any support players here who have successfully climbed up the ranks in solo Q? I've stepped up my Lucio/Zen game massively since starting out, but my SR hasn't changed one bit to reflect that. Always seems to be up to getting on a team with good tanks & DPS.

If support is my speciality, do I need to find a team in order to rise through the ranks? Or do I just need to get better?

Easily one of my most hated things in this game is how characters change depending on skill level. At low levels sure, Mcree fucks up a Genji or tracer, then you get to Diamond and suddenly the only counter is you being a better player. When a majority of this playerbase can't even begin to understand why they are broken you have to literally wait until streamers start picking them every game to get proper balancing.

The Spanish pronunciation is harder than the Latin American one, as far as I'm aware - you pronounce c's with a 'th' sound rather than an 's' sound which is pretty tricky for some words that have more than one of that noise to pronounce. I find it easy to slip into either accents accidentally. I'm sure both sound normal if you're used to it though.

I think that's Pharah's biggest issue. Any character with semi-reliable range and half a brain completely fucks her over. You have to completely outplay your opponents to have a chance. Playing Pharah against nearly any comp gives the enemy an advantage.

Which is fine. Until you're up against people with half a brain. At which point you'd be better of playing any other offense character.

I say this with Pharah as my absolute favorite character who I refuse to play in comp because it's pointless.
