The questing isn't the only problem though. There's the whole enhancing + gems + cards + transcendance + soon to be appraisal system that the entire "end game" is balanced around. There's still the problem of dead classes (wugu, sapper, bokor, etc.), instances/missions, and silver making and how much silver is required for attributes that're also holding the game back.

There is a problem when the gear grind is so massive that it discourages people from making alts in a game where diversity in class building is the main feature. This game is about build diversity, and we all know how much of the hassle is to level up an alt, and how maddening is the grinding to get it even close to the power of your main character. The point of having a diverse class system is to allow players to make a character specialized for their own playstyle or that they're thematically interested in, not to have players try out every single combination and easily reroll whenever a balance change is made. A good way to encourage alts without making further alts trivial would probably be providing a 1 time reward after reaching a certain level on a character. When you reach this level you get a potion you could give to an alt to make them and them alone level faster, instead of the stupid team level thing. It would encourage committing to the alt and not rerolling as often.

As a matter of fact, the attributes ideas are cool to give to something cool and nice to them, just like freaking passive, or a feat like in tabletop games. Maybe the damage increase attributes can be replaced by something like: "The base attack of the skills scales with your rank, as does your stats (Not just INT and STR)".

Doing World Bosses and ET, aa well as other instances should require, aside from enhanced equipment, teamwork. This aspect should be the most important aspect ot these features of the game, not just a game of who shoots bigger numbers with the pointiest stick (or bluntest mace or rod).

I think the attributes are mostly flawed. Ones like no-knockback and ones that change the properties of a skill in exchange for something or that just make a skill better are fine, but all the passive ones should just be passive skills you spend points on to make builds different. Ones like the highlander crit bonus I mean, should be something you can put points into, so it can go say, from 10% to 150% bonus depending on points invested (although I think all skills should be capped at 10 max. Wasting 15 points on a single skill is dumb.)

The damage attributes are gold sinks and nothing more. I think they should be removed, but I also like them because you can put a new alt up to 50% on everything and it makes it a ton easier with them, but I guess gear alone should do that. More class attributes like the Elementalist one mentioned would be nice, especially if they were about synergy like that, and even more if they were for other classes than mage. It feels like mages had the most effort putting in synergy with themselves.

There should be more skills that augment other skills too. Sort of like how summoner classes have skills that control their summons. http://irowiki.org/wiki/Sightrasher is a good example, ignoring that using PP on a fireball already causes sightrasher to happen.

I also feel that skills should grow a lot more in charging. Like energy bolt, or anything else where you charge levels on it, instead of just making the charge longer and adding a little bit more damage, it should be like either
A: the charge is always the same but the final attack gets stronger or
B: You get some higher effect or growth per level (10% bonus to damage per level, more hits per level, higher status infliction chance, anything like that.)

To be fair, although this image makes it look impressive and there is stars and shit on it, that dungeon in RO is basically just a few rooms full of stuff to kill. Like every dungeon in RO.

I'll admit, some RO maps have an impressive amount of detail on them and look good, but they're all basically a bunch of empty space that serve no purpose other than to kill shit.

RO dungeons tend to be bigger and less linear than ToS dungeons, but outside of that they're basically the same. Maps with high spawn rates to make grinding quicker.

This game doesn't even need to be fixed. It needs for IMC to keep doing what they were doing before: Putting little hidden things like chests all over the map, making fun interactive objects in the environment, and for them to make cutscenes skippable. If all those places on maps that lead nowhere lead to "hidden" areas/dungeons, if there were just more and more interesting little gimmick places, if there was something that wasn't a daily, quest, or instance, it'd be fine, but they aren't even keeping up to the old standards. I know they probably plan to go back and do it later, but they're not going to if they don't start doing it little by little.

I can't for the life of me figure out why they keep doing this. Cata3 is the undisputed strongest 3 circles in the swordsman tree for PVP. It always has been. It has never needed any help - never. It's gotten a ton of buffs, it seems to get buffs every 3rd or 4th patch, or more frequently. And it just keeps on going. This is the biggest one I can remember.

It's like a running gag. Cata3 and Hunter are the most broken classes in 2v2, but they just keep making them stronger and stronger, patch after patch, and seem like they're going to keep that up until that queue is dead.
