I use Skyrim Darker Dungeons for ENB with RS + ELE with no issue. Should aswell be no issue with ELFX. Id suggest True Storm over Vivid Weathers though, Vivid Weathers is a mod you gotta mod around.

Are there any mods that let you change up a follower's stat specialization? I don't really mean manually making them stronger like through a save editor or console commands, but something that would turn a heavy armor 1H character into a restoration light armor mace wielder and such. Basically when you guys wanna use vanilla followers (or custom followers) but want to change up how they are a bit, how do you go about it?

Also how do followers and perks work? Do they get any? If so how do I determine what each of them has?

EFF has some functionality that goes to changing a follower, otherwise just editing individual actors in the CK or TESEDIT would be very easy and quick.
As for perks, NPCs don't get them by default, not sure on the mods that add them but I'd guess it is calculated by their class stats.

If you want to go vanilla but improve the game I highly suggest:

Cutting room floor
Even better quest objectives
immersive citizens ( this one will save citizens from city dragon / vampire attacks as they will hide instead of being dumb and fighting them with a stick )
Unofficial patch ( you really want this one fixes so much shit in the game, and not talking just about bugs or things you do not encounter - it fixes many quests and makes lots of things work as they were meant to work )

Graphics portion of the update isn't much of an update since mods already made the game look better. Also subsurface scattering isn't available which makes characters look worse than before. (even with texture mods)

It's very stable though. But right now the process of making a new modlist for SE isn't worth it imo.

I played through the first chapter earlier. I really liked it. The three possible companions I met showed no sign of being anywhere near as poorly written as that beastwoman bio that's being posted around. The setting is also really neat, really digging it so far.

Gameplay wise, it's pretty standard IE stuff, so if you liked other IE games, you'll be right at home with Tyranny, too.

However I didn't feel like there was all too much to do outside of the MQ and the leveling system can be disorienting at first and I'm not sure how far along the translation how progressed since I played which was when the first translation came out. Also there are two romance options, male and female, you can choose that are somewhat endearing.
