What do you think is the most comfortable way to to view/edit/search/dump a game's RAM on the 3ds?
Here's what I've been using:

Works fine except that:
- if you search for a value that decreased or increased by a certain amount, when you add the address to the list, it sets its value to that amount.
- search for a generically increased/decreased value doesn't work
- no way to refresh or delete the whole list at once
- can't show a whole memory region all at once
- slow to fetch processes, at least compared to NTRClient
- can't handle a large amount of search results
- when there's only so many results it switches its search mode to one where it checks each address one at a time, and it sometimes makes it extremely slower

You can factory reset (but for the love of god don't update it). The reset doesn't update afaik but you can disable the internet connection if you're worried.

You need to get a catridge carrying the right firmware if you want to hack it from firmware 1.1.0. 7th Dragon would work, and a full list is included in the OP guide

So I'm on a New 3DS XL with 11.1.0-34U. I currently have my full collection of Pokémon in my Pokébank, and my system is urging me to update.

I would, but I heard that PKHex is compatible with Sun and Moon, and am thinking of holding out for the next week until the games come out so I can get some sweet shiny mons. What the fuck do I do? There are three different NTR forks, two of which make no mention of ntr.bin at all, they just say to install and run the .cia, which if you do will fail due to no ntr.bin detected.

Gotten to part 4 where i need to use ctr-httpwn but the guide is telling me to launch the homebrew launcher via one of the methods linked. I don't own any of those games. I don't even own a game on cart.

If you have moon and you want to switch to sun, You can use JKSM to nab your savedata from moon and just import it into sun.
Works like a charm, although you'll needa tweak your savedata with pkhex to set your time to Pokemon Sun's time system. (Well you don't /need/ to, but it helps.)
