Because of one of Cryy's videos that has him saying exactly that with his limited game knowledge, when in reality it's not that bad.

Folks here keep saying that there's supposed to be an "HD patch" that's missing from the game but I can't really find anything to comfirm it. How much better is the game suppose to look if/when we get this patch? Will polygon counts be increased? Will textures be improved so they don't look low res or flat as fuck, or will it just add more visual effects to mask the game's ugliness? I used the least amount of stones that give you the highest % rolls.

Example would be if
4/8 stones = 100% chance of 3-6%
5/8 stones = 150% chance of 4-6%,
6/8 stones = 200% chance of 4-6%

I'd always did the 5/8 chance. Needless to say I did get pretty lucky on rolls, getting max rolls 4 times in a row.

I honestly have no fucking idea how there are people with 80000+ gearscore.

They actually have all gold, +8 and all max socketed

Because the OWPvP has a point, and isn't just tacked on for the sake of having OWPvP. All three games also have guild vs. guild warfare that's fairly fleshed out, as well as penalties for mindless ganking. In all three games, it feels like the OWPvP was always meant to be a main feature instead of an afterthought to appeal to a wider audience.

I played Lineage 2 for around seven years and as well as the pvp system was, it was held back by the system to some extent.

Losing XP was already a huge penalty before the new awakening shit happened, but the gear dropping/breaking was what sort of killed it.

I don't know if you ever played L2 private servers but that was the most fun I had ever had in an MMO. PvP was everywhere and the penalty's were still there, it's just that XP wasn't a big deal, just the fact you could drop gear. I felt like that was the balance that made it worth it to risk PKing but you were still able to clear karma rather quickly.

I'm not really sure how you would bring that to a legit audience though. Retail servers took sometimes a day to clear negative karma so you almost never saw it. A shame really.
