I used to have this problem too anon, but I think because of stability I've been able to play through on SE. Currently level 46 and like... almost 100 hours into this character. Beat Main quest and dawnguard for the first time, and doing dragonborn right now. Try to find a funbuild, use a roller or make something interesting in your head etc.

Depends on your mod setup. However in genreal it gives you easy soultrapping and the potency of enchants can be rather large and contribute to having even more damage.

Also you can achieve the same effect as elemental fury without sacrificing your own damage pre swing by using Slow Time.;

A good five minutes or so before you get to the character creation screen, then a few more minutes to escape Helgen.

It's not super long but it gets pretty tedious if you have to go through it every time you want to start a new character.

Just stick to what's already on the Special Edition nexus for now or try converting them yourself.
Most everything with a .esp has to be converted. Some meshes have to be converted and some textures meed their compression type changed.

Im enjoying mine. Im a white dude but there lore is pretty cool. Only downside is they are very melee sword combat oriented and those builds are super boring to play. Mixing it up and being a spellsword is pretty fun though and imperious makes them a lot more interesting.

I really like the appearance of Dark Souls armour. Even The Witcher Series. Maybe more armours from the books would be nice to port. Of course able to craft them with various materials.

Is there a mod that makes each shout linked to it's own cooldown instead of a global shout cooldown?

So I could use one shout, then be able to switch to another and use it immediately, instead of needing to wait for cooldown, but if I wanted to use that should again or the first one I'd still have to wait.

I disagree? They are not "objectively one of the worst". In fact they're very similar to in basic philosophy to Vigor, just with different specific ways of handling combat positioning damage modifiers, injuries(or not as the case may be) and stagger, as well some addional features. I understand you may have a preference elsewhere but they're competently written mods. This isn't like the old days were one combat mod was good and the other fucked your saves with badly written scripts.

is there a mod that applies a damage rebalance for skyrim?

i've never been able to get into skyrim because getting hit 15 times/hitting something 30 times to kill it is extremely boring. i want to be destroyed if i dont block or evade, and I'd like to not need to hit things 45 times to kill it.

i'm that guy who mods fallout games into stalker difficulty shooters and tries to remove as much rpg of it as possible, because i like the world, i like the gameplay, but the difficulty damage modifiers are hilariously tied to RPG progression, and being unable to kill another human because he is scripted for bloated HP is poor design in my opinion
